It’s been a while.

Grandma is here! Thank you Grandma for coming to take care of our babies so that Jeremy and I can have the trip of a lifetime. We love you all so much! ❤❤❤🇯🇵

After 4 years, we finally got a smile! Next year, we work on the hair. 🧀

This year for her 7th birthday, Quinn asked (begged) that instead of a present, we get her ears pierced. About 10 minutes after the second photo was taken, she almost passed out while we were paying the bill. Luckily, an ice pack on the head, some snuggles in the tattoo parlor lobby, the piercer's Peach Snapple, and later, a milkshake in the mall made it all better. Now, she feels like a badass and a model all at the same time. Meanwhile, I'm recovering from my first heart attack. 😳😬 She should have just gotten pierced by a dirty hippy with a gun at Lollapalooza like I did in 1992. 😂

Global warming sucks (and is definitely real), but man, it was so nice to be outside all weekend.

Valentine's Day, 2017. I came home from work and Quinn had set a table for her and Ruby so Jeremy and I could eat alone in the dining room. She met me in the garage with a towel over her arm to lead me to "my table" where her dad fed me a ribeye with mushrooms and vegetables. Jeremy and I got to chat over dinner for over an hour while the girls ate their dinner and snuck their Valentine's candy while watching a movie in the family room. And we pretended not to notice while sipping our wine. Older kids #ftw. So lucky to have these funny Valentines in my life. ❤

Snow day! No school and work meant playing in the yard, sledding and lunch with neighbors. While Ruby chose to stay inside all day, Quinn and I had a blast playing together. ❤

After almost 7 years, we finally lost not one, but two teeth! Well, thanks to Dr Rob and his trusty pliers. 😂 Tooth Fairy, over here!!! #firstlosttooth💰

Just some randomness of our January. Lots of indoor activities. Can't wait for spring so we can spend some time outside again. Sigh.
