1. there were so many kpop groups debuting in early 2010s (especially 2012) that every week someone left their groups or it disbanded as a whole, that you could match those dates however you will. i've went through yg website archive page by page and there were months when the dropped A Lot of vague teasers that one could really get creative. having said that it makes little sense why yg is also so stingy with how much material a group releases, sending them to tour with 0 new songs and in general looking up how few albums big yg groups released compared to same year debut groups. those vague af teasers would always piss off so many stans and it's valid tbh

2. i've seen people wrongly attribute events to yg curse when there was zero teasers getting posted anywhere yg related, even when being generous to exact dates and giving day or two margin, even up to one week leeway i've failed to reach a conclusion that didn't felt like i'm reaching for the stars
