Former leader of the guard
How stressful it was when he’d seen the card guards running amuck outside. He could prove himself useful, could offer an aide as if he’d really changed who he was. But he knew better. Knew it better to keep hidden, keep out of reach of others. That is, until a card guard broke into his shop-- that was when he knew he had to get involved. Stepping forward in his full 7 foot glory, and offering a bow to his former apprentice of sorts.Â
“ How things change over time, don’t they? “Â
Voice suave, he tries to sound like melted chocolate as a form to entice the guard to listen to him. All the guard stated was that their new master wanted something from him, and Stayne offered anything in the shop that may prove of use. Why on earth they’d stolen a necklace he wouldn’t know, nor if it even was truly for their newfound leader, whoever that may be. No, Ilosovic decided it best not to ask.Â
He offers a smile, one that the guards would know the deceit behind all too well. The card offers a shake to the man, who makes the mistake of returning it-- truly believing his plan had worked. Not so.
Instead, the guard uses the length of his spear to hit Stayne right betwixt his thighs, his yelp of pain at the impact, however relatively harmless it really is, still could easily alert others of his location. As he falls to the floor gripping himself, the guard offers a snicker, only mentioning how that was thanks for his training back home.
The guard left, not too much damage happening in the form of the former knave’s belongings-- though, that doesn’t change the pain he feels at the moment. However well deserved.Â
