Another year of my life spent obsessing over one direction. Through the five years well spent, we laughed and we cried. From X factor to Zayn leaving the band, to Louis' baby rumors, we are still a family. It's really amazing how five people changed my life, along with millions of other people around the world. It's weird to think that my life would be different if I didn't acknowledge their existence. If I didn't acknowledge them, I wouldn't be where or who I am today. For that, I really owe them. I been here since the beginning and I'm not leaving anytime soon. We've all been here through thick and thin. This fandom deals with a lot of drama the rumors bring and we've stuck together. We even know how to vote for awards at the very last minute. We're strong just like our boys taught us to be. So thank you and congratulations One Direction and Simon Cowell for bringing the best thing into my life. Always in my heart. I love you all. Thank you for making me happy when I'm sad and even though you have brought many tears over the years, you're always forgiven and loved. Depression

I hate how people tell depressed people to "stop being sad", like excuse me? My friends always tell me to just be happy but they don't understand. I've tried and I just can't be happy. I don't know why I'm sad, I just am. I hate how they keep telling me to just be happy. They don't understand that depression needs to be treated. It isn't just a bad day. It's a disease that can really harm a persons mind. People need to do some research and actually help depressed people instead of telling them to stop acting the way they are. If your friend is depressed or you are, try to do something that makes you or them really happy and try to enjoy it. And get help. I have had Depression for over 5 years and I will always be sad. I cover it up most of the time. Try not to be me. It's so hard, but believe that life will get better. And that's cheesy but I still believe it, well I try to. Anyways, try to help yourself and never ask someone to "stop being sad" because sometimes you just can't and it can make a person feel even worse about themselves. I'm not a good writer so hopefully some one you will understand what I'm trying to say, even though my wording is really weird and bad. Okay well bye! -Kat
