I am all for films being about older women who have sex lives and interiority and complex relationships with each other and shit but for that to really be empowering you gotta let them look old! Wiest and Channing had gray hair in the original! Which I guess was allowed because they were 'older aunt' characters. But heaven forbid Bullock and Kidman are allowed to have wrinkles or gray hair if they're going to stay the main characters.

Also, Maisie Williams and Joey King are actually too young to be playing Sally's daughters in the second movie. Evan Rachel Wood was Kylie (Sally's oldest daughter) in the original and she's 38 right now. King is portraying Kylie in Practical Magic 2 and she's 26! Where tf did that decade go?? Fuck knows we can't acknowledge that Sally's daughter would be pushing 40, actually.

This post talks about a new DM feature in youtube. What it fails to mention is that as part of this new feature is that when you send someone a link to a video, and they open it in the youtube app, they will see who sent them the link. Specifically, your channel name.

If your google account name is your real name, so is your channel name by default.

This means the new default behavior is that everyone you send a youtube link to will see your full name if they open it in the mobile app.

To turn this off:

Go to your youtube app settings

Go to Privacy

Turn off "Channel visibility for shared links"
