oh DOGG it's done. it's done. IT'S DONE. started in October 31st 2025—finished February 11, 2026 😭😭 this is the biggest commission I have ever gotten my whole life, and quite possibly the most ambitious. (and one of the coolest.)

and yet—this is also the most fulfilling because of all the challenges I trudged through irl and creatively to finish this Biggest Painting Ever™️. I can't believe it. it's done. it's actually really done. life has been unfair and unkind and extremely punishing, and yet I did it. and I can finally do the other two comms waiting for me 😭🙏

presenting to y'all—@partyinthemysterymachine's GOOMT versions of Harry Mason & James Sunderland!! I did my absolute best getting down every detail he lovingly pointed out, and having read the first 30+ chapters of Get Out of My Town (an amazing, whoppping 400k fic that drips with atmosphere and incredible character writing), I made sure to add tiny details that added more texture to the boys and the environment itself. this was not a very easy painting to make—and yet I consider this to be one of the most rewarding pieces I have ever had the privilege of weaving together as this is not simply just two dudes posing for the camera—it's an illustration that tries to tell a story, and I love it when I get to do stuff like this. storytelling is a big passion of mine, always.

I wanted to thank Harv for not only trusting the boys to me and choosing me as the artist to do this kind of painting, but also for his incredible patience and understanding as I dealt with real life stuff while working on this project. my 2025 was NOT a joke, but I still wanted to deliver because I adore the concept of this whole thing, AND I didn't want to disappoint the one person who welcomed me with kindness and enthusiasm to the Silent Hill fandom. thank you, THANK YOU SO MUCH even though it took such a long time to get this project finished. it had gotten to the point that these boys were officially part of my daily routine, and a small part of me is a little sad that it is over. but also happy AND relieved that it's actually done because I can't make you wait forever lmaooo I'm just so happy you picked me for this project. thank you. thank you so, so much. I am so proud of this piece and I'm so happy you liked it TvT

REUNION

—oh my fucking dog it's done. Finally. After a full week of crying and pulling at my hair and absolutely not trying to scream into the void, it's finally done! Cole & Jared, together, for the very first time, drawn by my own hand.

This is their PaperDemon versions, by the way—elves, childhood friends, almost-lovers—until Cole leaves his clan and these two reunite 100 years later, after a wild turn of events I'm still trying to figure out. This was done for a challenge on the PaperDemon site—one prompt encourages you draw two characters together, lovers (or platonic partners if you prefer it), whispering sweet nothings into the night. But of course they are lovers; they always will be. Since last year when I decided that Cole & Jared will end up together I've been dying to have a portrait drawn of them together, but issues with health & my battle with imposter syndrome made it impossible, so it had to take a full year before I finally found the time to make this. Worth it. Fucking worth it.

I really love how this turned out. The process was painful; if you know me then you know how BAD I've been battling with this piece. I mulled badly over its simplicity—the shading I mean—because if you've been following me around for a while you know I tend to make rather detailed, softer shading with darker undertones and just pure ✨ drama lighting✨. But of late I've been drawn to something simpler—something that highlighted the strength of my linework, because often in detailed shading you almost never see the other things happening on my lines, which is a shame. And to be honest, I can't really do it anymore, at the moment at least, my usually detailed shading. It's like it shut me out and has been forcing me to explore a different style, one that's both familiar and alien to me. I aim to do more of this style in my future work, so I hope in the meantime you bear with me! I look forward to where this is all going.

—this is an old piece from 2016! Been debating whether or not to share my very old pieces but I'm ultimately making the choice to share select ones I still adore to this day. Also featuring Max Caulfield and Chloe Price from Life is Strange and these ladies are two of my most favorite characters in any medium, ever. The first LiS is also one of my top favorite games and it's astounding just how much influence it had, and still has, over me.
