the asmodian crossed her arms across her chest. using her powers to float on the spot in a sitting position. on leg crossed over the other. fingers tapping against her arm where they rest. her green eyes stare at the half breed. her body language shows that she is already annoyed at the situation at hand. having been paired with him for the time being to fulfill their part of the mission.
“you better be at least of some use.” she let out a sigh as she uncrosses her body. stretching out her legs into a standing position now. the heels of her shoes click against the ground. her hands rest on her hips. “i want to get this done as quickly as possible… i have more important things to deal with than babysit a halfling.”

That being said, Lass isn’t too happy with the outcome himself. Tag-teaming with any of the Chase’s demons has never been high on his list, but then again, he figures it could be worse. After all, he could be stuck with the new brat or his sister. At least Ley can hold her own in a battle- her own in the loosest sense, as he’s never seen her with any weapon outside of her Ultima. But surely as long as her combat butler is on their side, they won’t have any problems if they do get into a rough spot.
He doesn’t even bother drawing his sword as a small squad of guards approach from around the corner, unaware of the two Chasers laying in ambush. Between the two of them, there should be no need to anticipate any particular hardships, and so he rolls his shoulders, loosening up before the fun begins.
『 Anyways, you should be glad that I’m here. 』
His words are accompanied by the slightest smirk. He usually doesn’t embrace his half-blood lineage, for obvious reasons, but he can’t help the low-hanging fruit that Ley has presented to him.

Holy half-siblings, Batman! It’s been a while since I updated here! I’m still writing for Octopath, but right now my largest obsession is Grand Chase, of which I’ve been a fan literally since middle school.
I don’t know if I’ll be writing nearly as much for a while, since I’m working on a larger, older project right now, but hopefully I won’t forget to post here at least once in a while.

How much do you think Elesis and Lass would work as a couple? Would they work at all? Also, can you give me a basic overview of Lass' personality and speech patterns?
// Elesis and Lass would be the most disastrous of GC couples that would actually work well. Lass is cold and off-standing like a regular tsundere, while Elesis is hotheaded and easy to provoke. I think they'd do best balancing each other out- perhaps there's envy on both of their sides that eventually gets resolved into understanding and attraction. However, they probably clash a lot; Elesis is very emotive and rash which might irritate Lass when he doesn't have the energy for it, but likewise Lass isn't nearly as responsive, which might make Elesis insecure about how much he actually trusts her. In the end, I think it would take more effort for them to maintain a relationship than other ships - like RonanLass or LassLire, where both are more calm and rational than Elesis - but I also believe the payoff would be more worth it in the end.
Specifically my Lass's personality is - like above - cold, but not frozen. He tends to be on the serious side, and he sounds analytical rather than emotional because his emotions are never great to act on. However, that doesn't mean he has no emotions at all, ams for the most part he reacts calmly with small hints of amusement, happiness or irritation. On the negative side of the spectrum, he hides his anger and sadness until he can't hold it anymore and it explodes violently, and he knows it's not healthy but he doesn't have anybody he trusts enough to let out his frustrations on, not even the Chase sometimes.
"When Lass speaks, it tends to be like this. He's serious, and most of his speech isn't embellished. Hm, but he does make small noises like snorts - heh - and hums. He's also prone to making sarcastic quips or witty comebacks, but that might just be my love for banter rather than part of his character."
