Thinking about how an argument against aro/ace people getting discriminated against is "but they aren't doing anything" and like... that's the point. If you did something to deserve the treatment you are getting, we call that a consequence and that is a very different thing.
But it also brings up other questions like... do people think that people need to do something to be discriminated against? The whole point is that it's unfair and arbitrary??!
