Steve Huston once told a story about an artist painting men cutting grass with scythes. Sometimes after a session he would feel pain in his back and arms, as if he had worked the field himself - so powerful was the illusion. Point is, I have to 'aid' the cliffracers if the painting is to be.

I've told you how much of a crooked referee I am when painting battle scenes - constantly switching sides and whatnot. Hence someone with an upper hand in the initial sketch goes through many a perturbation and may end up actually loosing. This is one of the reasons I can never be happy in real life. Like, I've watched plenty of Tiberium Wars championships on Youtube and I always root for the side 'currently' loosing. That is, the 'only' configuration I am happy with, is the unlikely one where a player snatches victory from the jaws of defeat.

As daylight bled beneath the vicious night, it poised aloft a talon ghostly bright. Beware the beast's hypnotic gaze - it kills, though in a lesser way of sleep; it's still of Basilisk - the baleful lord of all that slithers, all that stings. When thunder-crazed it tousles treetops - dare I call it wind, or rather, flapping of the wings? And when I hear it peck against the roof - good heavens, I pretend it's rain.

I deal with art burn out. How do you handle projects you know will take you multiple days of commitment?

Months you mean? I work on five paintings simultaneously, mixing up subject matter : humanoid clothed, humanoid armored, semi humanoid naked, humanoid, naked with animals etc. I play games a lot, in long and short (1 hour) sessions. My bathroom read is an art catalogue from Capodimonte Museum in Naples. Oh, and every other night I spend time in a bomb shelter. Mildly inspiring.

P.S: Coincidentally, the first picture is an overpaint of The Choice of Hercules from said gallery.

Mod Release: JK's Radiant Raiment - More Elven Decor Addon

Very excited to release this simple mod: I've replaced all the taxidermy in JK's Radiant Raiment with elven-themed paintings, a tapestry, some cloth and a little gryphon statuette.

I used some concept arts and some of my own screenshots from ESO and Skyrim to make the paintings, and then @igorlevchenko-blog kindly let me incorporate a few of their gorgeous art pieces!
