        Heavy eyelids finally flutter open, wide-eyed and pooling with something she can’t quite decipher. She inches away from him, swallowing down the lump in her throat and ignoring the loud beat of her heart in her ears. “I— sorry.”

        His breath became heavy, his brown orbs flickering down towards her lips for a moment. He couldn't count how many times he had dreamed about kissing her. He swallowed hard, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It's fi -- you don't need to apologize."

         She pulls away, extricating her hands from his face and continues to squeeze her eyes shut as she builds up the courage to actually look at him.

         Just like the last time, she had reduced him to speechless. However pissed he might be at her or as much as he'd just like to be done with her, he would always come back to her.

"Don’t look at me like that — I’m not giving you sympathy. You’re a hyperactive kid. Work on taming that and maybe you’ll find yourself a girl willing enough to put up with you long enough to take your virginity."

         "You never give my sympathy, jackass. Didn't you ever hear of the phrase that you don't have to change yourself to get laid? Yeah, not gonna happen. At least my facial expressions don't vary from neutral to angry."
