Моя первая встреча с Невзоровым была когда его «600 секунд» начали показывать по центральному телевидению. Потом были восстания и протесты против СССР в Латвии и Литве, и Невзоров там был, на стороне СССР, и творил ужасные вещи. С тех пор я не переносил его. Совсем. Меня раздражала его манера говорить, его поведение перед экраном. Многое изменилось с российско-латвийской границы и Вильнюса в далеком 1991м. Невзоров осознал что был фашистом. И перестал поддерживать Россию и Путина. И получил Украинское гражданство. Вчера я был на его выступлении в Торонто и был очень приятно удивлен. И тем, насколько он не показушный в жизни. И тем, как он признает свое прошлое, и тем что он говорит по поводу российской пропаганды (частью которой он был), и его рассказами о РПЦ и о совершенном обесценивании человеческой жизни в России. It’s interesting how every year we have the cold coming and it looks like the winter is here, but then the Indian summer kicks in, and then another one. So, on Sunday… (remember my previous post?) … we decided to go to an apple 🍏🍎 picking farm with pumpkins 🎃 We went to a farm we go to every fall, just to find out their extended parking lot is fully packed and what looked like half the GTA (Greatest Toronto Area) waiting in lines. So, instead of being pissed, we we were happy for them doing even better than usual, and took a small apple orchard another hour drive from the one we originally went to. How many times do we miss opportunities to do something just because we are disappointed that what we planned didn’t go as it should? We could fall into this trap twice over the past long weekend. But instead, we decided to enjoy what flows. On Saturday, we wanted to visit a conservation area in Belfountain, but when we got there, we discovered that you need a reservation to get in. So we reserved a spot for Monday and just wondered around the area, finishing with a very nice dinner at a restaurant (we didn’t go out in a while).
