A Person Who Draws Very Slow.

What I love about this scene is she knew he was going to support her no matter what she wrote, but she knew she would cry no matter what he said. He knew she would cry no matter what he said, and he knew he would support her when she did. It’s all predetermined and all still meaningful.

Last weekend I was peeling an onion while cooking, and I felt something cut my left thumb. I looked at it, it felt superficial, maybe a puncture, I squeezed it to try and get a little blood through it, and couldn't. But it was so minor that I just shrugged, and went back to making dinner, wondering if a vein from a layer of white onion skin could really pierce my skin.

After dinner, there was a little welt at the site, like the ones people like me get from zucchini stems or sow thistle spines. Weird, but still nothing to worry about. You have to understand, the injury was, and still is, TINY.

By the next day, it was very inflamed, tender as hell, and looked like a pimple. I tried draining it a couple times, and applying aloe vera, but nothing changed. After four or five days of pain, I finally opened it up and put a drop of hydrogen peroxide on it, then more aloe vera. It finally started healing: the pus stopped coming, and it scabbed over.

But it still was way too tender to the touch, still inflamed, and there was a bit of yellow visible under the scab. I finally removed the scab... and there was something like a blackhead in there. It squeezed out easily, and I let blood flow in, then put more aloe over it.

Inside the "blackhead" plug, under the protective tissue, was a 3mm section of vein from the skin of that onion. No wonder it hurt like hell all week. It's doing much better now, there's barely a scab, and the inflammation is 50% gone.
