i think one thing that isn’t really talked about regarding recovery is the guilt you feel for getting better. sometimes you start questioning the validity of your trauma or mental illnesses just because you aren’t stuck in that hole anymore. but it’s so important to remember that it’s okay to recover. it’s okay to not feel depressed all the time; it doesn’t mean that bad depressive episode you just went through isn’t valid anymore. you are so deserving of healing - never forget that.
