Running right to the limits on this little grinder. +/- 0.0005" tho, so I can basically eyeball it. Modifying some urethane punch strippers. The material being punched is fairly soft plastic (think puckboard), and with the full contact area and 1/8" stripping length the parts were being marked. I reduced the stripping length to just 0.01" and reduced the contact face down to about 1/8" land (it becomes about 1/2" under full compression). #instamachinist #machinistlife #shoplife #machinebuilder
