Kuzan was probably a punk at 19, I like to think he wasn’t always the cool and mellow guy we know today. Just joining the marines and getting used to that rigid structure/rules… I’m sure he got into plenty of trouble and had to get his head punched in by Garp more than once. He and Sakazuki are like cats and dogs, but he does confide in Borsalino quite a bit. He really sucked at dating. Being young and bi, he had a lot of options, but nothing was ever serious or even remotely successful. Thinks Garp is “so cool” and that’s who he bothers when Borsalino and Sakazuki are off being some dumb, stable couple or whatever. Makes fun of them for being dumb and affectionate but, in the end, he doesn’t stand a chance once Smoker joins the marines. Borsalino is lightning-quick to give him a lot of shit about it.

Borsalino at 28 years old, before he switched exclusively to suits. Time to get serious am I right fellas haha aaaaa jk

Jeff Goldblum Borsalino is a pimp and I think we all know that about him. Plays dumb sometimes for kicks, but he really is kind of an airhead. Drives people crazy, doesn’t care. Normally takes everything in stride, but can be a big brat if you actually manage to piss him off. Always smells super good. He took one look at Sakazuki and went “OOF” and you know home boy had to have that. He and Sakazuki are somehow perfect together. Borsalino always looks out for Kuzan, because Kuzan is an idiot and a baby (and Borsalino remembers what he was like when he was 19). When he’s really, really happy, he can’t help but literally glow/shine, it’s cute but sometimes also really annoying.
