              bruises  weren’t  unfamiliar  to  him,  having  his  own  covering  his  body  --  damaged  more  than  a  child’s  toy.  (  though  really  you  are  nothing  compared  to  the  smile  beside  you.  )  a  smile  as  his  eyes  focused  on  the  scenery,  but  he  listened  to  every  word  she  spoke.

              a  fairy  tale  princess,  huh  ?  a  dream  of  sorts.  when  he  was  with  her  --  it  felt  like  a  dream  ...  head  lost  in  the  clouds  whenever  she  spoke.  he  couldn’t  understand  the  feeling  deep  inside  his  chest,  trying  to  deny  it.  but  each  flirt,  every  move  she  made,  it  made  his  heart  ache  &&  twist.

               looking  at  the  other  straight  in  the  eyes,  onyx  eyes  blink  nervously.  his  face  by  now  was  bright  red,  nervousness  crawling  across  his  face.  not  a  word  was  said,  his  throat  feeling  as  if  it  was  swelling  up.  a  moment  of  silence,  before  he  gulped  down  his  nervousness.  closing  the  tiny  gap  between  the  two,  hands  cupping  her  cheeks  as  he  pressed  his  lips  against  hers  --  much  more  forcefully  than  intended.  &&  the  kiss  did  not  last  the  long,  due  to  the  fact  of  the  ice  mage  being  beyond  nervous.  pulling  away,  but  lips  remained  close  ...  just  in  case  ...

              ❛     huh  –  ?     ❜  eyes  go  wide  at  the  totem  launched  his  way,  smacking  him  dead  in  the  face.  stumbling  backwards,  a  hand  quickly  grabs  the  ‘  baby  ’  that  hit  his  face.  a  bit  of  blood  from  his  nose,  but  nothing  too  serious.  still,  it  hurt.  clenching  the  baby  in  his  fist,  not  hard  enough  to  crack  it  …  but  enough  to  show  he  meant  business.

              ❛     watch  it  ! ! !  next  time  i  will  crush  one  of  these.     ❜  he  knew  the  other  could  just  tranfer  the  soul  anyways,  it  wasn’t  much  of  a  threat.  eyebrows  knitted  together,  a  pout  on  his  lips.  he  couldn’t  stay  mad,  only  natsu  pissed  him  up  that  much.

              ❛     just  …  never  mind  …  now  my  nose  all  bloody  …     ❜  grumbles  as  he  stormed  off,  mainly  to  hide  his  embarrassed  face.
