Iceberg Adventures

So, as I am back in the UK you will be seeing what I see, from here.

Inspired by my friend Dan's collection in London, I thought I'd make my own.

Where next?

After Australia I popped over to Indo - I'd been to Bali before, and well didn't have the best time. Hawkers, granny massage artists, terrible sun burn and tuna mayo sandwich toilet time. 

This time it couldn't have been more different. 

Nusa Lembongan is next Bali and only 30 minutes by bumpy boat, but is like stepping back 25 years.

This was the view from my bungalow. At $12 a night I think I found a good spot. 

So the adventure is over - but the Iceberg will live on.

Meet Tom (I think that was his name?), he is now the proud owner of one fine automobile.

It took me on numerous surf trips and one hell of a road trip around Aus. 40,000km extra on the clock, and no problems at all.

I was sorry to see it go, but selling it 4 hours before I boarded the plane was a relief, to say the least!

Rach and Mike loved having me stay with them.

This shot was taken at Palm Beach, where they film Home and Away. I took them up there to break the news, that I was going home. I was a bit surprised by their reaction. I thought tears would be in order, not the high 5's, kisses and massive smiles?!

Apparently they won't miss my cereal alarm clock? I'm sorry, but I love my breakfast, Mike. You might not admit it, but I bet the flat feels empty with me gone... well kind of, apparently I didn't clear up quite as well as I thought i did.
