(She turns back to the cashier) I need a croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and a warm cinnamon roll...take my card (she yanks out her wallet and pays for the baked goods before putting the wallet back in her bag) thanks...you can get what you want dad!

(he’s startled for a moment.) “you don’t need to pay dear… it’s alright… I can…”

(he sighs) “perhaps I can finally get a nap…” (he takes off his upper suit, giving her back her knives and syringe.)
