brenderesa au where Teresa is a model for Brenda’ s life drawing class (the one where you draw naked people) and Brenda feels like the creepiest person ever because she finds her so stunning and even after the session had finished she can’t stop painting her. She’s her muse and Brenda is totally and completely captivated by her. After painting her a few million times, she puts them all in her art show, she then realizes that the entire show is Teresa. She doesn’t think anything of it because it’s not like anyone will notice, let alone care. That is, until Teresa comes strolling in and Brenda is so horrified that she actually hides. She’s gonna get arrested or sued or god knows what, that’s what she tells Thomas. She can’t stop talking because she’s so nervous and worried and she doesn’t even hear Thomas trying to get her attention until he spins her around and forces her to look at the girl staring at a portrait of herself. she was looking at one of Brenda’s most obvious pieces, she had portrayed her as she saw her, full of color and wonder and as enchanting as she could recreate even though it did her no justice in Brenda’s opinion, and Brenda felt like crying, until Teresa turned slightly to reveal she was smiling.

It hit Thomas that Minho had known Newt for two years longer than he had. So much more time to grow close.
