Something of a child prodigy, David Lynch made this short for the U.S. government series 'Marriage For Moderns' under the nom de plume ‘Willard Van Dyke’ when he was only four years of age. The tone was deemed a little utterly morose and foreboding* resulting in the film eventually being released with a bloated 18 minute running time.
