this august isn’t like last august, last august i gave up on my future now i know my dream college, i was scared to like girly things but now one of my favorite colors is pink, i was working a minimum wage job now i’m buying lana del rey concert tickets, i gave up on love now i’m hopeful it will come soon, i had trouble standing up for myself to loved ones now i can, the only time i found happiness was when i was h1gh now i find it in little things, i had a hard time expressing my feelings now i’m getting better, last august i hated the thought of childhood ending now i can’t wait to see where ill go next. it’s for the better
