You know I think it's really funny how quick racists tuck tail and try to back track their statements or reactions when they get called on the carpet for being racist. I just read an article about Republican party official in Pennsylvania being forced to resign after making racist remarks on Facebook last year. And much like the lady in the picture she swear she's not a racist because she comes from a very diverse family. Bullshit! The lady in the picture is a hostess or desk clerk at the Ambassador Hotel right here in Milwaukee. While on the MKE Xpress Tour with Social X last week, our group of 20-25 diverse, yet majority African American, young men and women were escorted from our party bus by the hotel's general manager right past her into a space that was set up for a quick meet and greet and reception. The lady gave us such dirty looks, much like the one in the picture, that many of us stopped in our tracks as if we'd done something wrong or wasn't supposed to go any further. When asked, "Is everything ok? Did we do something wrong?" Her response was, "Who are you people?" Some one took the time to explain the group and the rest of us continued to our destination. However, that wasn't the end of the situation. As the manager & head chef finished their presentation and walked us around the lobby to show us original finishings and updates to the historic building, a few people notice the dirty looks continued to the point one young man spoke with her and it. One of the execs from our group also spoke with her. Again after being called on the carpet she wanted to throw out there that she is not racist and that her boyfriend is black. #thisisamerica #thisiswisconsin #thisismilwaukee If you know her tag her.
