🦇 Who is your favorite superhero? ⠀ In the fictional world BATMAN has always been my favorite. ⠀ I loved the fact that he’s just a normal dude without any other worldly superpowers. ⠀ He was a wealth man that used his resources to help people & rid his city of evil. ⠀ That inspired me a kid… ⠀ Because it showed me that I didn’t have to have some superhuman powers in order to make a positive impact on others. ⠀ That all I had to do was be kind to peeps… ⠀ And equip myself with the right skills + knowledge + resources to help my loved ones & those around me. ⠀ I focus on using my positivity to help at least one person everyday. ⠀ I do this by hitting up at least 5 people/day just to say whattup… ⠀ To let you know I’ve been thinking of you… ⠀ And to wish you the best with whatever you may be going through. ⠀ So when I drop you a note… ⠀ Now you know why. ⠀ Much love! 🌅 This lockdown has been interesting change of pace… ⠀ I’ve been so used to running around trying to make moves that I rarely take time to kick it & enjoy… ⠀ But this lockdown has allowed me to slow down to reflect on my vision + progress. ⠀ I’ve made time to evaluate + adjust my daily routines. ⠀ Modified my training schedule for the gym closures. 🚌 3 weeks ago my car got completely totaled! ⠀ Here’s how it all went down… ⠀ I was working out at my gym Mountainside Fitness (@Mountainsidefit). ⠀ I typically train at night because I feel the best & love my gym crew at that time. ⠀ Plus, it’s my time to relax from the day & focus on improving my body + mind. ⠀ Everything went as normal. ⠀ I finished up my training session. ⠀ Chopped up with a few peeps. ⠀ Then called it a night. ⠀ As I walked out to go to my car that was parked around the side of the gym… ⠀ I saw the entire front end of my Dodge Magnum completely smashed + ripped off! ⠀ The first thing I did was LAUGH 🤣 ⠀ I felt ZERO anger or negativity about it. ⠀ It felt like it happened for a positive reason… ⠀ Last year I spent a lot of time letting go of things that no longer served me… ⠀ And I feel that my car was now one of those things I had to let go of. ⠀ Was the situation & timing perfect? ⠀ No, not really… ⠀ But I’m extremely thankful it happened. ⠀ It forced me to level up and practice everything I’ve been learning… ⠀ Calmness + patience + trust + gratitude. ⠀ I remember a time when I would’ve flown off the chain when an event like this occurred. ⠀ Now I just chill & observe… ⠀ I think it’s cool to see the tests that come our way in life when we least expect it… ⠀ And how we’re able to handle it. ⠀ Much love!
