[Calypso waking up in her fishtank after one week]
When the mermaid finally opened her eyes, it was pitch darkness around her. She didn't know how long she was asleep, but she was sure it was too long. Lying in the bottom of the aquarium, she stood up, the best she could, before knocking her head against the top of the fishtank, which made her yelped a little. Calypso was lost. She barely understood what was happening, it was so dark that she could barely see in front of her, and once again, she yelped when she tried to move forward and collided with something cold and hard. Touching it with the tip of her fingers, she realized it was a big glass, and she was trapped. Immediately, panic took over her, and she succeeded to focus enough in order to create a small light ball, which helped her to see more clearly her surrounding. She was indeed in an aquarium, full of seaweed and rocks, probably to give her a semblance of familiarity, but truly it was just hurting her, the girl was almost fighting with the anemones over the territory. Frenetically, the little mermaid knocked around her, as if she could break her cage with her fists, but she knew she couldn't, she wasn't strong enough, and the aquarium was resistant.
Aeron, who was leaning on the wall watching at Calypso, couldn't help but smile a wicked smile as he watched the realization settle in Calypso's face. When the hope left to be replaced by fear. He spent months making her fall in love with a fake version of him - of course she'd still have hope.
To his words, the little mermaid frowned. She was confused, puzzled, and most importantly, scared. What was going on right now!? She had no idea... But the smile he proudly displayed now was something completely new. She never saw this smug smile, this wicked expression coming from him, and so, the girl was lost. At the idea of her being far from the sea, she didn't want to believe it. But deep down, she knew he was perfectly right. She could felt it in her bones, that the ocean was miles away, and she hated this sensation.
