Brb hyperfixating

(An unfinished piece of art I did back in Feb for the post-s5 fic I’ve yet to get around to writing lol. For context: Mike is struggling with survivor’s guilt, his sexuality, everyone leaving Hawkins, etc, and has not been coping well. Partying in college, casual drugs, etc.

This is from the lowest point of this where he’s just come from a party, where he’s just had a fight — I wish I could say with who, but it’s an interesting scene, and requires way more context lol. He’s wet bc he jumped in the pool bc he had a hallucination of the quarry, bc he’s having a bad trip and basically getting Vecna’d bc of it. He has a breakdown and manages to call Nancy in Boston, who calls Steve, who comes to pick him up and take him back to his place to sober him up and take care of him overnight. They talk in the morning, and Steve helps him get back on track.

There’s a lot more context than I feel like typing, but you get the gist. I was tired of hoarding this piece, so here you go lol)
