Jasmine's friendsgiving 😁

I was 18 years old when I decided to enlist in the United States Army as an infantryman. While everyone else graduated high school and had plans to go to college, I was learning the fundamentals of shooting a rifle. When my peers back in California all turned 21 years old and prioritized their lives with endless nights of alcohol and drugs, I was stop-lossed in Iraq with an exceptional group of individuals who helped me reach the rank of Sergeant. Myself including many others have sacrificed more than most people will ever lose, including our youth and innocence, to defend our country and provide the freedoms that those usually take for granted. To all the veterans who had to endure the hardships of war, thank you for your service. We will never forget the brothers and sisters we have lost and the challenges we've experienced that helped shaped us into becoming the people we are today.
