my creepypasta oc lorelei!! she grew up in a cult and was used as a human sacrifice, but it wasn’t done correctly so now she’s a human mermaid hybrid that needs human flesh to keep her appearance!!! she stalks and lures her prey to keep herself from getting hungry. lorelei lures them in by coursing them into the lake that she was sacrificed.

(took heavy inspo from jennifer’s body (obviously) but also really loved the thought of an aquatic oc)

at age 10 when lorelei was brought into the cult, she was seen as a deity because of the good fortune that she provided. slowly, she was brainwashed into their ways as she grew up. the cult was tight knit, and didn’t accept any rule bending, ESPECIALLY seeing the outside world.

as she got older she wondered what life was like outside of the cult, despite their greater wishes. lorelei was caught attempting to escape the cult and was sacrificed, giving their ‘greatest gift’ to the water gods that they served.

however, the sacrifice failed, and she succumbed to the demons that tried to take her. now she demands flesh to keep human body… despite the scales.

the more she disguises herself, the hungrier she gets for flesh. the hungrier she gets, the more she resembles the corpse that was once sinking to the bottom of the lake.

personality wise, since she was extremely sheltered, she doesn’t have a grasp at social cues, making her extremely agreeable. she is not naive, which she’s learned from luring her victims into the lake. she’s conniving, deceiving her victims and learning every single thing about them. using something they did in their past as blackmail, lying about their closest family, threatening lives, when lorelei’s hungry, she NEEDS a victim.

though in a more casual setting, she’s pretty anti social from being so sheltered. she’d love to talk to people more, but since she doesn’t understand much of anything, her confusion usually falters into annoyance. i’d imagine she’s pretty blunt and sarcastic at times, especially around the creeps! is the type to approach people first, but things get pretty awkward so conversations end pretty quick. trying her best dude… very happy and energetic around friends though!

incredibly socially awkward because of growing up in a cult, so she doesn’t really know how to interact with the other creeps. clashes a bit with jeff and toby- though i feel like she’d slowly get along with toby because they’re quite similar personality wise.
