i keep seeing people online criticize and analyze the people that seemed to be at taylor’s wedding or are in her life in some way or another in general. so many people love to really dig and try to determine these people’s (checks notes) …moral compass? political beliefs? to these people i ask the question: do you have your maga aunt on facebook? has your grandparent ever said something iffy? who in your life, for the last 10 years even, had beliefs or did something you didn’t agree with? okay, now what if people outside of your life took that information and made assumptions about what that means for you. would it be a fair, reasonable, or accurate way of determining who you are and what you think? no one on earth has a personal radius of perfect morality. there are people in all of our lives (even the ones we keep at a distance) like this. this is a fact of life and the only way to avoid it is to know no one, ever. just something to think about
