“Ok, I’ll book us a cabin.” Before he could say much more her lips were against his, finding himself wrapping her in his arms. Falling back into her was easy when he loved her, no love couldn’t even explain, he didn’t know how to explain it. He kissed her back softly, letting out a soft breath when she parted from him once more. “Good,” he mumbled before returning the kiss. “It’s not going to be easy but I don’t… I don’t want to give up on us.” It felt so good running his fingers through her hair again, being able to smell her perfume again and to just have his arms around her. “I’ll make a phone call to my boss first thing, tell him I’m taking some time off.”

“Then what they say about great minds thinking alike must be true.” He smiled to himself, fingers tracing over the stubble that coated his face. “Do you have any allergies or wine preferences that I should know of before hand?” Preparation, he definitely had to make a stop tomorrow at the store so he could cook her a nice meal. “I’ll be home around five in the afternoon, sound good?”

Rick noticed her eyes as she smacked her ass, and did it again. “I think you already are my cock hungry slut… and if you want more of it… I think it’s time you show me what you can do and ride my dick like a good little fuck toy.” He commanded, pulling out of her so she could get into position, but not before smacking her ass once more.

jordan & maddison.

━ jordan wasn’t concerned for him; his concern had solely been for maddison. he didn’t need an actual reason to put off his publicist, because he did so all the time, but this time he did. figuring damage control to her, meant throwing maddison under the bus somehow, and jordan had plans for the opposite. he wasn’t sure where she was or how quickly she could meet, but the moment she answered her phone ━ he could tell she knew. “i know,” his heart ached, hearing her tears practically screaming on the other end of the line. “don’t cry, please…” he frowned, even as he got to his car and slipped into the driver’s seat. it was an unfair request, because he was sure considering what was going on, she simply couldn’t help herself. it was a good thing he was sitting down when she asked him if he had anything to do with it and he paused in starting up his car. as if the question alone was a verbal smack to him. “of course i didn’t do this?” the actor finally managed to gasp out. “where are you now?” even if it had stung, he still needed to meet with her.

━ mon-el always kept kara up on a pedestal. having her back in his life again after seven years made things difficult, because for a while ━ he continued to accept her words without question. now that they were adjusting to life as leaders, albeit in two different times, it was getting more difficult when the two disagreed. “i’m not giving up,” he replied in an incredulous tone. how could she think that? “i’m saying if we go in without any sort of plan, more innocent people will die.” they were at a standstill, but there was no way to predict who was right or who was wrong. “when are you ever going to trust my judgement?”

Nox could never sleep, not truly, but there were alternatives he had found. It was a quasi unconscious state, one born of meditation rather than bodily maintenance and even it proved difficult. On the fringes of his sanity he felt his father’s curse chipping away, beating at the walls of his mind to drive him from his rest. It was, in part, because of this that when the restless movements of the other came that he stirred. 

“No? Libby certainly hadn’t been clinging to that tone last night.”

A smirk came at the thought, though it was hidden by the position he had chosen. Finally she called his name and he moved to face her before his crimson hues flickered open like flames licking to life. His expression flashed with amusement as realization dawned on her fully. It was pure chance that the pair had collided once more, but the alcohol had flown through Libby like blood by the end and she had all but dragged him to the bedroom. 

“Libby.”

Pale hues grew wide, his singular response answering every single question that ran through her mind. However there was one question that lingered, dancing at the tip of her tongue, itching to be asked. “Did we... did we fuck last night?” it was a little to brass for the brunette but it was the only way she could ask him without the twisting of her words. She knew him too well, knew that he enjoyed tormenting her. His willing lover, centuries on. 

Now on all fours the brunette couldn’t help the dazed smile wash over her features, the look he gave her clouding every ounce of coherent thought in her mind. “I missed you.” a confession flew from her lips.

“I couldn’t damn well marry for love! How could I?! The only person I loved was seven years in the goddamned PAST.” Mon-El hadn’t meant to yell, but she was pissing him off with the looks and the pointed words. “I was fucking forced into this marriage with Imra, Kara! I MADE THE BEST OF A SITUATION I WAS FORCED IN…. something YOU taught me to do.” he snarled. He circled her then, like he was stalking his prey. Kara was his prey; always his, only his. “What do you want to hear, Kara?”

“Do you want to hear about how year after year, I’d spend the day in my private rooms, where I’d built a shrine to you that paled to this real thing I have RIGHT HERE?” He reached out then, the back of his hand colliding carefully with her cheek, a gentle caress. “I don’t want to lose this, the real thing, YOU, now that I have the chance to fix it…… fix us.” he whispered.

Kara was taken back by the sudden outburst from Mon-El. They rarely fought, and he rarely ever raised his voice, but this, this must have hit a nerve. Oceanic hues watched him with caution, his circling motion putting the Kryptonian on edge. This was a side to Mon-El that she had never seen before, a side she was almost frightened of. “I want to hear the truth Mon-El — do you love her?” she snapped, crossing her arms over her chest.
