My zombie AU

I think Ellie will have no choice but to kill Frank after he turns into a zombie during the apocalypse. For context, Frank was a survivor for a period of time before he got infected. He followed Chase and the others to rescue Ellie in the zombie-infested basement of the police station, but got bitten on the leg in the process. Later, the two had a series of bitter arguments. Driven mad by the virus’s early effects, Frank grew agitated, convinced that everyone would abandon him. He eventually fully turned, and Ellie was forced to put him down. That’s why she carries Frank’s bag with her afterward — she keeps it as a memento of him.
