With only a week left in September, we can't help but get excited for one of the best holidays of the year, Halloween!

So to get into the spirit of spooky things, here are a few interesting Halloween Facts you may not have known and if you did, smart little you...

  1) Those with Samhainophobia have an irrational fear of Halloween

  2) Ireland is typically believed to be the birthplace of Halloween

  3) Halloween was used by Celts to mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, which was also believed to bridge us with the world of the dead

  4) Halloween candy sales average around $2 billion every year in the U.S, thats a whole lot of cavities...

  5) The worlds biggest pumpkin grown in California weighed in at 2,032 pounds

  Yes, Halloween is a crazy time of year, but can be rather fun. Get creative with your costumes, eat candy til' you puke, and stay creepy!

Just want to start out by saying thanks to all the great people that came out to Monstermania con this year and supported HxC Prints.

Friday kicked off the convention and what seemed like a slow start was a pretty good turn around on Saturday.  With everyone’s love for The Walking Ted merch we displayed, we tried to prepare people for a big surprise from us the day before. No one would have guessed they’d be seeing a life sized Teddy Dixon walking throughout the convention. 

Pretty cool line up of celebs this time around. We got to meet some more of The Walking Dead cast, which are really great people by the way. Lawrence Gilliard Jr. showed some love for Teddy Dixon. On Sunday he even stopped by to say hello.

Unfortunately, some thought it was The Walking Lion at first, like Steven Yeun, but it’s all good… Other cool guests made their appearances, like Verne Troyer aka Mini Me who made his way around the market place and even Meg Foster, who took a liking to our Keep Calm, We’re All Infected T-Shirt.

Not only will you get to see some stars, but the talent devoted to some of the costumes are definitely worth seeing also.
