Good. Hwan was never one to share anything he had caught.

Though the office had only been occupied for a short while he had made it more of his own. Some would think it dark, yet the ghoul found pleasure in the knickknacks he had strewn around. Trophies he'd collected over his long life before and after his ascension into vampirehood. He was fidgeting with some items on his desk when there was someone at the door, a knock before the large wooden door swung open. He shifted so he was sitting just off the edge, his desk ornate and large to accomodate his stature while holding up. "Ah, my first visitor." He cheerfully said, waiting for his guest to come from around the door.

First visitor? Hwan sighed. That meant this could take a while, didn't it? People got sentimental about that stuff. "I thought, as staff, it was important that I come visit," he stated, voice barely above a bored monotone. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

Since being moved into the dormitory, Zane tried to keep to himself. He was used to being able to shift into his fox form whenever he felt anxious like this, and get small enough to keep himself hidden. Here, everything felt very exposed in a way that he wasn't used to. Zane was used to being the one behind the camera, the watcher instead of being watched.

Hwan stretched as he made his way through the halls toward the common room. His shift had just started and he was already looking forward to it ending.

"I think that's a stupid idea." It was said as though it was such an obvious thing to know. The spell on him made it impossible to keep whatever thought he had stay in his head. He knew it was only a matter of time before it landed him somewhere he didn't want to be. "You really shouldn't have wasted your energy asking me that, you know?" He frowns, if he had a way to keep his mouth shut he would have. He was a perpetual talker even before he was cursed with funky magic, this just made it all the worse for him. He ran a hand through his hair as an attempt to try to keep himself from talking further.

Hwan shrugged. His ideas had been called far worse. "How else can I be certain you don't want to be eaten?" he asked, sarcasm dripping from his words. "Do you have any better ideas about what I should do for dinner?"

Gideon was on a fairly good streak, though gambling was not one of the hobbies he usually took up, Poker required a steady hand and a straight face. Something Gideon could do for days on end if lost in thought, so poker wasn't so terribly hard and others were so often easy to read. A furrow of the brow, a biting of the lips. The smaller micromovements of the face giving weigh to the turmoil of decision underneath. But Gideon, with a straight flush in his hand, merely gave a small grin. "Your turn."

Hwan wasn't generally interested in gambling. However, the table had needed another person and he had been available. Staring at his cards, the completely stoic wendigo moved two chips forward. "I raise."

Kaden was out on the forest edge tracking down the same escaped slave. The castle had called him in case said slave was closer to town at this point than the castle but did it really matter by the time he stumbled onto the scene. He heard movement nearby and followed it, his boots crunching in the snow-covered ground and negating any level of stealth he might have. A chill ran up his spine, the hairs on the back of his neck rose for a threat he wasn't yet aware of so the kresnik reached for his gun just in case...

Hwan roared back, scrambling away from his meal as the harsh sound hit his ears. Grabbing at his meat, he dragged it with him as he moved behind a thick tree. While he knew he would heal quickly, he had no interest in the pain.

"About ten minutes," Hwan replied with a shrug. "Fine. I can cut this short." Going into town would, at least, be interesting. He would have something to do for a while. "Where do you need me more?" It didn't matter to him where he went.

"Isn't the sweater enough?" Manny raised a brow at Hwan. He knew he'd find the wendigo somewhere quiet away from the rest of the festivities. "Think you can't say shit when you're not even dressed in something holiday-like. Parties are happening, Reyes took off, you helping bring the slaves down to town?"

"Depends on who you ask." Hwan didn't consider himself the festive type. All he wanted was people to either be quiet or to be food. Generally, he had a lot more success with the former rather than the latter. "I was," he replied. "I'm on break." This way, he could have some time to himself before having to deal with people again.
