i’d like not to crush so often though. honestly a pain in my ass, and not even the fun kind.

doesn’t bother me, since i’m evidently the superior jae anyway.

    “have you not been watching the movie at all?” with a small huff, mina kicked her leg out as though to kick the back of jae’s chair, obviously falling short due to her tiny legs. the edge of her heel hit his bed frame and she hissed in pain, giving jae a look as though it was his fault.

    “cabin in the woods is literally making fun of every horror movie stereotype ever. that’s literally the point of the film. besides, i don’t need to watch actual people get murdered, thanks. the dark web freaks me the hell out. i only use it to get my drugs.”

    blowing a large, pink bubble of gum, mina popped it and chewed a few moments before getting up to look over jae’s shoulder. she rested her chin on the top of his head ( because boundries? mina doesn’t know them ) and squinted down at the screen. “my ex-boyfriend. last i head he had gotten some girl knocked up but he’s blocked me on literally all social media platforms.” she huffs once more. “bitch.”

“ALRIGHT, big guy. you have your preferences and i have MINE –– look at me, i don’t do illegal shit like HACKING. it is a useful skill, though.” he’s sure to add that final bit as a form of FLATTERY, especially because he just showed some especially tasteless DISRESPECT towards the favor he’s asking for. maybe what he’s doing is just as ILLEGAL. damn. “my mom is in korea, can you hack that far? no LANGUAGE BARRIER kinda stuff, right?”

“dudes ass was whiter than the first snow. next time we need our shades.” theo pinched the bridge of his nose when laughing. “ugh i don’t know but if that was for fun, he seemed a bit scared..”

georgie removed the sucker from her mouth with an audible pop of her lips. laying on her back on the bed, she turned to look over at him with a look that she rarely gave someone. confusion. usually people were giving her that look. “is that what gets you off? no wonder you never get hard for me. next time i’ll bring a knife to the bedroom. would that help, boyfriend?” she grinned, placing the sucker back in her mouth as she moved from the bed and over to the chair he was sitting in. “you can really find out anything about anyone?” she asked, hands resting on his shoulders so that she could support herself as she leaned over to look at the screen. “look up me. you think you can clear my criminal record? i’ll let that count as our one month anniversary present from you.” she teased, grinning before giving his cheek a quick peck after slipping the sucker from her mouth.

lucas didn’t understand what had made him think that computer programming would be easy. instead, he was sure that it was the hardest class that he had taken out of all four years of his college experience. and the semester had only just started. he knew he needed help from the first class. it was a week in and he was starting to fall behind. it was now or never, and while he wished he could just some helpful videos online, he knew that jaehwa was going to be his best bet. the male seemed to know everything and lucas needed that right about now. he just hoped that he knew enough to know embarrass himself too much in front of jae.

eyes were trained on jae as he responded, almost feeling like he should apologize for being so obviously lost. thankfully the words were stopped when jae spoke the one word. sit. wide eyes fell to the seats around the table, but were quickly pulled back to his seat. he was hesitant at first, finding himself stuck in a sort of internal struggle. how was he supposed to share the seat with jae and not become an absolute nervous wreck. still, he couldn’t just say no. he needed help after all. lucas grabbed his computer and backpack and wandered over to his table. nervous smile taking it’s spot on his lips as he placed the computer down. hesitantly, he brushes his fingers through his hair before sitting down next to jae. their thighs were touching and it was hard not to. “i’m sorry… i can get another chair and more it over here.” lucas shifted his legs so that it wasn’t touching his thigh as much as before, but it was still there. “i-i haven’t done much. the.. the… everything. it doesn’t ma-make sense. the… codes,” he tried to explain, turning his computer for jae to look at while his fingertips tapped against the table top. “is… is this right so far?” he asked, pointing to the section of the homework that he had filled in. lucas finally allowed himself to look from the computer and his eyes fell upon jae. wow. “i should jus-just drop it. the class. it’s not too late. but…” but then he wouldn’t see jae as much. or have an excuse to see him. “i can do it… i just… might need your help. a lot,” he admitted with a small laugh. “if that’s okay… and you have time. i am sure you have your own thing to do. of course you do… i can find someone else actually,” he rambled, answering questions he didn’t even know the answer to in the first place.

jae notices lucas and has done since the beginning of the year. he’s a little shy, but does a lot of nervous talking. if he hadn’t already observed him doing it with other people, he might have been more taken aback. but he just smiles, and waves his hand at the apology. “seriously? come on, everyone knows i’ve done worse with guys. i’m not gonna freak because you’re sitting next to me.” he teases. “get comfortable.” or as comfortable as he can, given jae is still taking up half of the chair, but he’s small and easily fits in the space. he quite likes the warmth of other people sitting so close to him anyway. 

“hmmm...okay.” he clicks his tongue. there’s no need to consult the textbook; he’s worked with this code, and others like it, for long enough to detect some errors. of course he’s not a genius -- or at least doesn’t see himself as one. there could be things he might accidentally overlook. “what? no, don’t drop it. who else am i gonna look at and admire when the class gets too boring?” flirting comes so easily to him, especially around someone so adorable. he hardly notices he’s doing it. “the codes are right, but the placement is off. here. this variable here should be at the top. and you have to declare it, otherwise it doesn’t work.

“I do not think that horror movies are just porn are you joking?  There’s only like thirty second sex scenes max in any of the movies.  And that’s only right before they get killed, so it basically doesn’t even count.” penny rolled her eyes, jumping off of the bed and pulling up a chair so she was now sitting next to him, “fy faen.” she cursed, rolling her eyes, “vanessa hudgens and austin butler, I swear sometimes you do not even listen to me.”
