First Day || Vincent and Ruby
Vincent had never been a fan of flying, usually just sleeping through a whole plane trip, but when the plane was an airship with giant windows that one could see the two thousand foot drop below, it was a bit harder to get some shut-eye and ignore the possibility of imminent death. The other first years around him didn’t seem as concerned, chatting amongst each other and eager to arrive at beacon.
Finding a quiet corner away from the windows, Vincent sat down as he tried to calm himself down, looking visibly sick “Ugh… The sooner this thing lands the better…”
The airship was nothing if not imposing in its grandeur. A childlike thrill had been racing about the youth's petite frame since she had gotten aboard--since silver hues had initially fallen upon the structure, really. The scythe-wielder had countless questions regarding maintenance, functions, the parts that comprised the mechanic magnificence, but all inquires remained internal. Because while Ruby was excited, an anxious knot in her stomach had been accompanying said elation for nearly the entirety of the trip.Â
A sigh passed her lips as she wandered about their designated area, atmosphere alive with animated chatter and amiable reunions. It was funny how crowds could be some of the loneliest places at times. The roseate was just about to seek out her sister when an agonized groan caught her attention. Blinking once, twice, Ruby scanned the expanse until she located its source. And what a sight to see. The stranger practically radiated nausea.Â
"Whoa... You don't look so good there, friend."Â
