hey! Sorry about the text only answer, there will be a few more of those tonight. I just feel kinda bad because this one’s been sitting in the box for a while. I’d love to show you, but the van’s in the shop right now cos it got fucked up by some demons. (Fiery bastards…) I almost always drive the van. I have the statistically quickest reaction time, sense of direction, and am least likely to get us killed. Patrick usually gets shotgun, but Pete does fight him for it sometimes. Patrick’s kind of a passenger princess though… So it’s usually Pete and Joe in the back. It’s actually really nice back there; I almost wish I were back there sometimes. They’ve got blankets and snacks for long stakeouts. I think they also have a gameboy or two back there as well. Joe’s always in the back as cautionary measure: easier to restrain a dog man when he’s not busting through your windshield… Pete likes to make a little nest and snuggle up to Joe back there when we stay out real late. The windows are also completely tinted in the back to keep Pete from burning during early morning stakeouts. (But he cowers under a blanket anyways.) We have a bunch of gear and shit in the back too. It’s a great van, really. Does it have functional AC and heater? No, but it does just fine. Oh! We also have a car for trips that aren’t stakeouts. It’s the most gorgeous machine; sleek, black, and embellished with our symbol, courtesy of Pete. When we’re in the (as I like to call it) nightmare machine, (pretty cool, huh?) either I or Patrick drive. I’m not As good with it as I am the van, and Patrick kinda worships that car. And of course, Pete and Joe in the back as usual. The car isn’t as comfy or practical, but it gets us where we need to be quickly, and sends a message. Every vamp in town knows that car and they know it means trouble.

I've always been curious!

Although, we mainly hunt vampires. They’re the most prevalent and seem to cause the most problems. However, if there’s a bounty and a reasonable cause, we’ll hunt any creature that poses a threat to our town. The vampire entry was from when Joe, Andy, and I began hunting. The entry is actually Pete! He had longer hair then, and we still weren’t super friendly, but it just goes to show that any foe can be a friend I guess. We never sought to hunt him, though, just those of his kind? Is that the correct phrasing? Not sure. Anyways, turns out he had a problem with the vamp gangs overrunning the town too. I’m glad we found him. As always, I appreciate your curiosity, and thanks for the question!

I didn’t know it was so obvious- what gave it away if you don’t mind me asking? But yeah, I’m a lycanthrope, also known as a werewolf. That’s actually why I got fired from McDonalds… I booked a late shift that night and it just so happened there was a full moon. I got really hungry, hungrier than my usual munchies, and ate every patty in the freezer. Tasted like shit, but I mean hey, I was hungry. Patrick had to come pick me up and take me home. That part’s actually Kind of a nice story.. anyways, thanks for the question, and I always appreciate an inquiring mind. You’re very observant. Props to you.

Not sure what’s gotten into him recently. He used to just nibble and barely leave a mark, but he’s been getting much more aggressive with it recently. Not in the way he’s like, hurting me or anything, but the marks have just been darker. I bandage it so it doesn’t get infected. I pretty much always have a bandage on my neck. As soon as one is gone, he asks if he can bite again. Not sure what his deal is. Thank you for the question, and, don’t worry, it wasn’t disrespectful at all if you were worried about that.

These are just the more prominent groups around here. And that only accounts for vamp gangs. I feel like maybe I should’ve had Patrick answer this one since he’s done loads of research and junk. The leader of the Dandies, Bill, is actually the one who turned me. For some reason, we just can’t seem to kill him. Sneaky bastard… Think of it like living in that one movie… what’s it called? The one with the greasers. There’s Inter-gang conflict and tousles and stuff, but for the most part it’s not too much of an issue. We try to keep them from overrunning shit and eating people, but that’s the Only real “conflict”. That and of course when we get a job to Merc one of ‘em. Thanks for the question!

The economy here is pretty much nonexistent. It’s literal anarchy. I mean, at least nobody comes for us to pay our bills since there’s nobody to pay them to. Joe actually got fired from McDonalds because of a certain… workplace event in which he chose his shift time very unwisely. He’s now banned from McDonald’s and the neighboring Sonic. We don’t really have issues with money, aside from having to get gas and groceries out of town because everything here is ransacked by creatures… anyways, sorry we’ve been gone so long again. We should be able to respond a lot more quick now, so keep those questions coming.

The sensation of the bite is more what I crave than the blood itself. So it’s a good thing I kinda can’t turn people anymore (we found out what very easily could’ve been “the hard way” a while back ago actually.) I will sometimes bite the guys as a kind of “showing I care” and “remind them I’m not like the others” and “claiming and reminding” gesture I guess..? It’s hard to explain, but I only bit because I was hungry maybe once… I think Patrick still has the scar… I really am ashamed of myself for it… I beat myself up about it every day because, in that moment, I was just like them; those evil shadowy monster men. I don’t even know what got into me. I’m usually so good at keeping myself level when I get hungry with all that breathing exercise shit, but it was like I was watching my body from the outside. That was kind of my turning point where I really vowed to never end up like them. …thanks for the question, Sorry I got all emotional.

Hey, Pete here! Sorry for the text-only posts again, but we’re working on something rn. Thanks so much for the continued support and patience! I’m doing This one text only because I already kind of answered it? I actually chose the floor locker. It was the darkest, warmest place they had that I was allowed to stay at the time. It’s a lot cozier than it looks and I like it in there. It’s decorated and has plenty of blankets and pillows (not to mention other stuff I use/ need along with some clothes from everyone I stole because I like to sleep with them when they go on hunts without me so I don’t forget them. It sounds really weird saying that out loud, but it’s a comfort thing. I don’t want to forget who they are and go batshit on them and start turning them.) I don’t sleep in there too much now because we’ve all warmed up to each other. Now I sleep under/in Patrick’s bed because it’s much warmer and much less lonely than my bed. I also sometimes will sleep in the rafters like a bat. It really is comfortable. Don’t knock until you try it. Thank you for your concern, though! The others are really actually super sweet to me. If anything, I feel like I’m mistreating them. Also don’t tell Patrick I told you about where his hat went… or where Andy’s favorite hoodie went… I don’t think Joe cares about his shirt.
