National Audiovisual Institute has launched the Three Composers website with the goal of popularizing the work of three eminent contemporary Polish composers: Witold Lutosławski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, and Krzysztof Penderecki.

The so-called "Polish" violin. Its original bow has not survived. The violin was made by Antoni Hybel from Ropa, a village situated close to Gorlice. The then press wrote about the instrument in 1925: "because of this invention, a complete reform of the structure of a violin took place. The instrument differs in the structure — the right side has been removed. The new form resembles the letter "P" and makes it possible to reach the highest positions easily and clearly. When playing the common older form of violin, the right arm hurt because of its twisting over the violin […].
