Confession:
I want more Florika hype
Confession
I wish that most of the film adaptations didn't exist. The 1956 Jean Delannoy film is at least a decent attempt at the book, but all the US versions are hideous travesties that distort the plot and characters, The Disney film is, frankly, vile and should never have been greenlighted, even allowing for some of the beautiful cityscape paintings. (As I observed at the time, "What next? Mickey, Donald and Goofy as the Krazy Karamazov Brothers?") Some books are not for children.
Confession:
I really liked the Disney movie when I was a child but when I was 10 I “grew out” of Disney films, as in I suddenly lost interest in them. I’ve only just re-discovered some of them as an adult now, including this one and I love it more now than I ever have. It’s crazy how familiar I am with it now. I also read the book and watched the Musical. I loved both. It’s such a beautiful story. I’m just sorry for myself that I disregarded it for so many years because I thought I was too old for it.
Confession:
"Waving Through a Window" from "Dear Evan Hansen" fits Quasimodo almost to a T.

Confession
I want to turn Esmeralda into a gigantic blueberry just like in Willy Wonka.
Confession:
I want to see George Salazar or Ben Platt play Quasimodo. They've already proven how amazing they are at playing insecure and emotional characters; it'd be interesting to see what they bring to the table.
Confession:
Esmeralda was the fictional character that made me reilize I was BisexualÂ

Confession:
Oh boy I have a lot! 1) Pierre is one of mt favorite characters and it's strange that a lot of people hate him. He's so good, leave him alone. 2) I wish Paquette (Sister Gudule), Fleur-de-Lys and Jehan were put in more adaptations. I absolutely love them all, making up three of my top five characters. 3) Clopin is by far my favorite in the book, and I shamelessly think he and Jehan know each other better than the book let's on. 4) unpopular opinion: I prefer the Quasimodo in the Disney movie.
Confession:
Several months ago, I was hospitalized for depressions from when I was jilted by the love of my life for someone prettier and more talented. While there, I was comforted by an illustrated children’s adaptation of the original story of the “Hunchback of Notre Dame” optional in the hospital library; if beautiful Esmeralda’s passionate love could go unreciprocated, and if audiences rooted for poor, deserving Quasimodo in the face of his unrequited love for Esmeralda, then maybe they’d root for me and think I was beautiful if my story got out.

Confession:
I think the Disney Esmeralda is too perfect
Confession:
I understand that Esmeralda is a sexy character and all, but can casting directors stop choosing older actresses to play her? After all, Esmeralda is only 16 and I've always imagined her with a more naive face
Confession:
I am really sick and tired of various adaptations casting actors in their fifties to play Frollo. I want someone who is in his thirties for once like the original character in the book.
Confession:
(Idk if you still are active) Gringoire (in the original musical)is one of the most magnetic, hypnotic character I've seen.
(Ps, I AM active, but only when people like you want it to be. Asks fuel this blog. Without asks, there’s nothing.)
Confession:
When it comes to the Disney set of films for HoND, I wonder if Clopin ever sat Quasi down and explained what happened to his mother.

Confession:
I’m not a “Frollophile” but Frollo is actually a pretty well written character. He’s definitely evil, but he’s good in terms of characterization.
