anyways i wanna stand before someone and not worry for a second about my pores or my hair or my unwanted hair or anything that marks me as decidedly human & just bask in the radiance of emotion without concern to being used up after a glance, which is a haunting fear of mine bc men are consumers, eaters, destroyers, and women have to keep up the show Or Else lmao

there’s something comforting in the fact that nothing’s really permanent. that no matter what i’m going through, who i am, what i think, what’s happening around me, it can always change. maybe good times don’t last, but at least bad times don’t last either. maybe i’m unsatisfied with who i am, but i’m not stuck that way.
