The Agony of Her Childhood

Oprah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29, 1954 to Vernita Lee and Vernon Winfrey on an isolated farmland in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Her name was supposed to be Orpah, from the Bible, but due to difficulty of spelling and pronunciation, she was known as Oprah almost from birth. Oprah Winfrey's unmarried parents separated paths soon after she was born and left her in the care of her maternal grandmother Hattie Mae Lee on the farm.

As a child, Winfrey entertained herself by blissfully "play acting" in front of an audience of their farm animals , according to her she do it everyday to boost her self-esteem, confidence and to at least forget her loneliness for the negligence of her both parents. Oprah's grandmother encouraged her love of books by teaching her how to read at the age of 2. She started by reading the Bible and soon began speaking at her church. Later, she would recite memorized verses to her grandmother's friends and she addressed and had a talk to her church congregation about "when Jesus rose on Easter Day” when she was two years old. Under the strict guidance of her grandmother, she learned to read at two and a half years old. Then Winfrey skipped pre-school after writing a note to her teacher on the first day of school saying she belonged in to the first grade. She was promoted to third grade after that year. To be with her mother when Winfrey turned six years old she was sent north to accompany her mother and two half-brothers in a Milwaukee ghetto, an extremely poor and dangerous neighborhood. Then at twelve years old she was then sent to live with her father in Nashville, Tennessee due to poverty and her mother couldn’t sustain for a living. Feeling secure and satisfied for a short period she began making speeches at social gatherings and churches, and one time earned five hundred dollars for a speech. She knew then that she wanted to be "paid to talk."

Winfrey, again, was asked back by her mother, and she had to leave the safety of her father's home. The poor, urban lifestyle had its negative effect on Winfrey as a young teenager, and her problems were compounded by repeated sexual abuse, starting at age nine, by men that others in her family trusted. While babysitting Vernita's children, Oprah's 19-year-old cousin raped her, took her out for ice cream, and told her to keep it a secret. She did, but this would not be the end.

Within the next few years, she would face more abuse from a family friend as well as an uncle. She kept silent about all of it for years. Her mother worked odd jobs and did not have much time for supervision.

A turning point

In her early teens she was sent to Nashville to live with her father, who proved to be a positive influence in her life. According to Winfrey her father saved her life. He was very strict and provided her with guidance, structure, rules, and books. He required Winfrey to complete weekly book reports, and she went punished without dinner until she learned five new vocabulary words each day.

Winfrey became an excellent student, known in her school, participating as well in the drama club, debate club, and student council. In an Elks Club speaking contest, she was granted a full scholarship to Tennessee State University. The following year she was invited to a White House Conference on Youth. Winfrey was crowned Miss Fire Prevention by WVOL, a local Nashville radio station, and was hired by the station to read afternoon newscasts.

Winfrey became Miss Black Nashville and Miss Tennessee during her freshman year at Tennessee State. At age 19 Winfrey became a news anchor for the local CBS television station. Following her graduation from Tennessee State University in 1976, she was made a reporter and coanchor for the ABC news affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland. She found herself constrained by the objectivity required of news reporting, and in 1977 she became cohost of the Baltimore morning show People Are Talking. The Nashville Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) affiliate offered her a job; Winfrey turned it down twice, but finally took the advice of a speech teacher, who reminded her that job offers from CBS were "the reason people go to college." The show was seen each evening on WTVF-TV, and Winfrey was Nashville's first African American female coanchor of the evening news. She was nineteen years old and still a sophomore in college.

The Track She’s All About

After Winfrey graduated, WJZ-TV in Baltimore, Maryland, scheduled her to do the local news updates, called cut-ins, during Good Morning, America, and soon she was moved to the morning talk show Baltimore Is Talking with cohost Richard Sher. After seven years on the show, the general manager of WLS-TV, American Broadcasting Company's (ABC) Chicago affiliate, saw Winfrey in an audition tape sent in by her producer, Debra DiMaio. At the time her ratings in Baltimore were better than Phil Donahue's, a national talk-show host, and she and DiMaio were hired. Winfrey moved to Chicago, Illinois, in January 1984 and took over as anchor on A.M. Chicago, a morning talk show that was consistently last in the ratings. She changed the emphasis of the show from traditional women's issues to current and controversial (debatable) topics, and after one month the show was even with Donahue's program. Winfrey excelled in the casual and personal talk-show format, and in 1984 she moved to Chicago to host the faltering talk show AM Chicago. Winfrey’s honest and engaging personality quickly turned the program into a success, and in 1985 it was renamed The Oprah Winfrey Show. Syndicated nationally in 1986, the program became the highest-rated television talk show in the United States and earned several Emmy Awards.

Three months later it had inched ahead. In September 1985 the program, renamed the Oprah Winfrey Show, was expanded to one hour. As a result, Donahue moved to New York City.

In 1985 Winfrey appeared in Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Alice Walker’s 1982 novel The Color Purple. The History of Black Women Through Drama and Song, which she performed during an African American theater festival in 1978.

Her critically acclaimed performance led to other roles, including a performance in the television miniseries The Women of Brewster Place (1989). Winfrey formed her own television production company, Harpo Productions, Inc., in 1986, and a film production company, Harpo Films, in 1990. The companies began buying film rights to literary works, including Connie May Fowler’s Before Women Had Wings, which appeared in 1997 with Winfrey as both star and producer, and Toni Morrison’s Beloved, which appeared in 1998, also with Winfrey in a starring role.

Winfrey later lent her voice to several animated films, including Charlotte’s Web (2006) and The Princess and the Frog (2009), and appeared in Lee Daniels’ The Butler (2013). Selma (2014), a film about Martin Luther King, Jr., that Winfrey produced and also appeared in, was nominated for an Academy Award for best picture. She subsequently starred in the HBO TV movie The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks (2017), portraying the daughter of a woman whose cancerous cells were, unbeknownst to her and her family, used in research that led to numerous scientific advances. Winfrey then appeared as Mrs. Which in the 2018 film adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’s acclaimed 1962 sci-fi novel, A Wrinkle in Time.

Winfrey broke new ground in 1996 by starting an on-air book club. She announced selections two to four weeks in advance and then discussed the book on her show with a select group of people. Each book chosen quickly rose to the top of the best-seller charts, and Winfrey’s effect on the publishing industry was significant. Winfrey further expanded her presence in the publishing industry with the highly successful launch of O, the Oprah Magazine in 2000 and O at Home in 2004; the latter folded in 2008.

In 1998 Winfrey expanded her media entertainment empire when she cofounded Oxygen Media, which launched a cable television network for women. In 2006 the Oprah & Friends channel debuted on satellite radio. She brokered a partnership with Discovery Communications in 2008, through which the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) replaced the Discovery Health Channel in January 2011. In 2009 Winfrey announced that her television talk show would end in 2011; it was speculated that she would focus on OWN. The last episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show aired in May 2011, and Oprah’s Next Chapter, a weekly prime-time interview program on OWN, debuted in January 2012. In 2017 it was announced that Discovery was acquiring a majority share in OWN, though Winfrey would remain involved in the channel. That year she also became a special correspondent for the newsmagazine 60 Minutes, which aired on CBS.

Winfrey engaged in numerous philanthropic activities, including the creation of Oprah’s Angel Network, which sponsors charitable initiatives worldwide. In 2007 she opened a $40 million school for disadvantaged girls in South Africa. She became an outspoken crusader against child abuse and received many honours and awards from civic, philanthropic, and entertainment organizations. In 2010 she was named a Kennedy Center honoree, and the following year she received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 2013 Winfrey was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She won the Cecil B. DeMille Award (a Golden Globe for lifetime achievement) in 2018, and her impassioned speech—in which she called for racial and gender equality—was widely seen as one of the ceremony’s most memorable moments.

The Limelight of Oprah

The popularity of Winfrey's show skyrocketed after the success of The Color Purple, and in September 1985 the distributor King World bought the syndication rights (the rights to distribute a television program) to air the program in one hundred thirty-eight cities, a record for first-time syndication. That year, although Donahue was being aired on two hundred stations, Winfrey won her time slot by 31 percent, drew twice the Chicago audience as Donahue, and carried the top ten markets in the United States.

In 1986 Winfrey received a special award from the Chicago Academy for the Arts for unique contributions to the city's artistic community and was named Woman of Achievement by the National Organization of Women. The Oprah Winfrey Show won several Emmys for Best Talk Show, and Winfrey was honored as Best Talk Show Host.

Production

Winfrey formed her own production company, Harpo, Inc., in August 1986 to produce the topics that she wanted to see produced, including the television drama miniseries based on Gloria Naylor's The Women of Brewster Place, in which Winfrey was featured along with Cicely Tyson, Robin Givens, Olivia Cole, Jackee, Paula Kelly, and Lynn Whitfield. The miniseries aired in March 1989 and a regular series called Brewster Place, also starring Winfrey, debuted on ABC in May 1990. Winfrey also owned the screen rights to Kaffir Boy, Mark Mathabane's autobiographical (having to do with a story about oneself) book about growing up under apartheid in South Africa, as well as Toni Morrison's (1931–) novel Beloved.

In September 1996 Winfrey started an on-air reading club. On September 17 Winfrey stood up and announced she wanted "to get the country reading." She told her adoring fans to hasten to the stores to buy the book she had chosen. They would then discuss it together on the air the following month.

The initial reaction was astonishing. The Deep End of the Ocean had generated significant sales for a first novel; sixty-eight thousand copies had gone into the stores since June. But between the last week in August, when Winfrey told her plans to the publisher, and the September on-air announcement, Viking printed ninety thousand more. By the time the discussion was broadcast on October 18, there were printed before February 1997.

The club ensured Winfrey as the most powerful book marketer in the United States. She sent more people to bookstores than morning news programs, other daytime shows, evening magazines, radio shows, print reviews, and feature articles combined. But after a six-year run with her book club, Winfrey decided to cut back in the spring of 2002 and no longer have the book club as a monthly feature.

The Talks Ahead

Although one of the wealthiest women in America and the highest paid entertainer in the world, Winfrey has made generous contributions to philanthropic organizations and institutions such as Morehouse College, the Harold Washington Library, the United Negro College Fund, and Tennessee State University.

Chris Evans is an American actor best known for playing comic book superhero Captain America on the big screen.

Early Life

Christopher Robert Evans was conceived on June 13, 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts, and brought up in the close by town of Sudbury. While his father, Robert, gave monetary solidness as a dental specialist, Evans and his three kin were attracted to the performing expressions universe of their mom, Lisa, an artist turned Youth Theater chief. 'Not another Teen Movie' and 'Cellular'

Evans first major film role came in Not another Teen Movie (2001), a spoof of high school dramas like She's All that (1999) and earlier predecessors. As football star Jake Wyler, he follows the formulaic procedure of accepting a bet to date the nerdy, glasses-wearing girl, delivering a silly highlight by squirting on the whipped cream bikini made famous by Ali Larter in Varsity Blues (1999). 'London' and 'Sunshine'

Coming off his early teen films, Evans showed he could handle weightier fare with London (2005), as a junkie struggling to get over his ex-girlfriend. He later took on Tennessee Williams in The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond (2008), with Bryce Dallas Howard, and portrayed a real-life lawyer and drug addict who goes after the pharmaceutical industry in Puncture (2010).

'Iceman' and 'Snowpiercer'

Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), better known as Fernando Poe Jr. and colloquially known as FPJ and Da King, was a Filipino actor. In 1953, Poe finished his primary education at San Beda College, Lepanto. For high school, he went to San Sebastian College. He continued his education at Mapua Institute of Technology and University of the East.

His father died from rabies at age 35, leaving the young Poe as the family's breadwinner; to support his family, he dropped out of school. Poe dropped out of high school to work in the Philippine film industry as a messenger boy, and was given acting roles in subsequent years. Starting as a stuntman for Everlasting Pictures, he was given a starring role in the movie Anak ni Palaris (Son of Palaris) at the age of 14.

The movie was not a big hit. In 1957 the movie Lo Waist Gang made him popular, and the film was such a big hit that low-waist pants became a fad. Poe won the most best actor awards at the FAMAS. Among the movies that received awards were Mga Alabok ng Lupa (1967), Asedillo (1971), Durugin si Totoy Bato, Umpisahan Mo, Tatapusin Ko (1983), and Muslim Magnum .357 (1987).

Among his roles were Flavio in the mythical Ang Panday series, Kahit Konting Pagtingin, Dito sa Pitong Gatang and Aguila. His last movie was Pakners which also stars 9-ball billiards champion Efren "Bata" Reyes. FPJ or as known as DA King, in the year 2004 he was run for the presidential of the Philippines, and one of his opponent is Gloria Macapagal Arroyo that defeated on him. We witness the dedication of FPJ to won the presidential, but sadly to say that he was lose and after the election he accused Gloria that she cheated the election.

Poe can't accept the fact that he was lose. Two months later, though, Mr. Poe asked the Supreme Court to nullify Mrs. Arroyo's victory and declare him president, accusing her party of committing electoral fraud. Mrs. Arroyo's camp denied any wrongdoing and expressed confidence that the Supreme Court would eventually throw out Mr. Poe's protest. He was a formidable opponent to Mrs. Arroyo even though his campaign suffered from disorganization and questions over his citizenship, which a court later resolved in his favor.

After a few months Poe was admitted to St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City in the evening of December 11, 2004 after complaining of dizziness at a gathering in his production studio during a Christmas party. He suffered from a stroke and slipped into a coma while being treated for a brain clot. Doctors described his condition as a cerebral thrombosis with multiple organ failure.

He died at the age of 65 on December 14 at 12:01 am, without regaining consciousness. All the people are so unhappy of what happen to DA KING all the Filipinos are sympathizing because we know that Fernando Poe Jr. Are very known and famous because of his movies. Poe married actress Susan Roces (real name: Jesusa Sonora) in a civil wedding in December 1968.

They later married in a religious service and among their primary sponsors were then-President Ferdinand Marcos and First Lady Imelda. Poe and Roces adopted a daughter, Grace Poe, who became a senator. Poe was also partnered with Anna Marin and had one son, Ronian and with former actress Rowena Moran and had a daughter, Lourdes Virginia.

Poe was very reclusive about his personal life. However, in February 2004, during the presidential campaign, Poe admitted to having fathered two children out of wedlock. FERNANDO POE JR. On December 14, 2012, eight years after his death, a monument to Poe was erected at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Arquiza Street, with widow Susan Roces and daughter Grace Poe attending the unveiling. FPJ died but his legacy will remain in hearts of those who will remember him for the rest of thier lives. Poe was posthumously declared a National Artist of the Philippines for Film on May 23, 2006 by President Macapagal-Arroyo. The award was confirmed by President Benigno Aquino III on July 20, 2012, and was presented to his family on August 16.

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson or simply Emma Watson was born on the 15th of April, Year 1990. Emma lived in Paris until her parents, Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who were both British Lawyers divorced when she was 5 years old which made them move back to England along with her mother and her brother. She lived with her mother and would spend her weekdays with her father. Her parents got remarried which was the reason for her to have a growing family. She is the oldest among the 7 of them, Alex was her younger brother and she had two half maternal brothers and three half brothers from her father’s new marriage.

Emma attended a theatre arts school in oxford where she studied singing, acting and dancing and even performed in plays held in her school. While attending a theatre arts school, she was also a student of Dragon School, still in oxford and later in Headington School. She dreamt about being an actress and Stagecoach Theatre Arts was her first step in pursuing her dream. She grew up being a smart girl who had taken interest in debating and some sports like hockey, tennis and rounders. She even won in poetry competition when she was 7 years old. By the age of 10, Emma had performed in plays and stage productions in her school which was one of the reason why her skills in acting and drama had shone and was noticed by her teachers.

Her theater teachers were the one who suggested her to some agents who were looking for potential kids to be a cast of an upcoming movie based on J.K Rowling’s best-selling novel, the Harry Potter series. It was year 1999 when Emma was invited to the auditon of the said movie. She attended eight auditions where she impressed the producer with her confidence and acting ability. She even beat her seniors, was able to capture the heart of the author of the said novel, and was personally picked as the one who will play the role of the protagonist’s bestfriend, Hermione Granger. Emma left her school, Dragon School in year 2003 since she was getting busy with her filming for the said movie. She was tutored for her exams which she cleared in the following year with two A’s and eight A+.

Playing the role as Hermione Granger, for the Harry Potter movie made her have her first professional breakthrough. In year 2001 which was her debut-screen appearance, earned attention from critics and audiences internationally as the avid fans of the said novel began to relate her to the character of ‘Hermione Granger’ in the book. Daniel Padilla is a Filipino recording artist and a famous actor, also known as the “Teen King,” a tag that is the result of his massive popularity with Filipino teenager. Daniel Padilla was born Daniel John Ford Padilla, on April 26, 1995, in Manila, Philippines, to Rommel Padilla and Karla Estrada. His parents were full-time entertainment industry professionals. His uncles were well-known actors too. Thus, having been born into a family that was deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, Daniel was fascinated by show business from a very young age.

However, his family life was not as ideal as it seemed from a distance. His parents divorced when he was a kid. His mother raised him all by herself, and his father married another woman. Daniel has seven half-siblings from his father’s side and three half-siblings from his mother’s side. The bitterness between his father and mother kept Daniel away from meeting him for a very long time, and he met his half-siblings from his father’s side only after he turned 16.

He accompanied his mother to most of her shoots and got fascinated by the entertainment world. He became determined to build a career in the industry in his early teenage years. He lived in Tacloban for a year and studied there. Story of Francisco "Isko" Domagoso Moreno

"I would rather fail doing something than fail doing nothing." That was just one of the principles in life for the success of Filipino actor politician, and the 27th mayor of the city of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. In a packed San Andreas Sports Complex on May 15th, 2019, he was proclaimed the next mayor of Manila. He triumphed with a landslide victory of 357 925 votes, more than the numbers of votes of his two opponents combined. He defeated the former mayors of manila, retired president Joseph Estrada and retired police general, Alfredo Lim. It was a historic victory that took the decades in the making, spanning its stint in the showbiz, his struggles at the Manila City Council, a frustrated attempt at National politics, and a cordial relationship with President Rodrigo Duterte.

​All of it, dated in a ground breaking campaign that tried without the support of a national party and a collected ecstatic crowds without the slapstick and fanfare of typical sorties that are part of Philippine elections. He ran his campaign with the pledge of a new day for Manila and ended up victory. But his rise was not just an instant magical fairytale. He had overcome severe and difficult trials that seem to be unending. From the slums of Tondo, to Manila's throne, this is Francisco "Isko" Domagoso Moreno's story.

Francisco "Isko" Domagoso Moreno was born on October 24, 1974 at a depressed area of Tondo, Manila. He was the only child of Joaquin Domagoso and Rosario Moreno. His father, Joaquin, was a stevedore at Manila's North Harbor and came from Antique Province. His mother, Rosario was only a housewife and came from Allen, Northern Samar. He started his young life amongst the most under privilege and in a portion of the city that's almost forsaken. His father earned barely enough for its family's needs, thus, Isko, at the early age was fully aware of his social and economic standing. Because of that, he missed the luxury of the fun of boyhood toys, shoes and clothes, and other things that they usual child craves for. As the only child, he took upon himself to share the burden of earning for himself and his family. At the age of 10, he started gathering old newspapers, plastics, carton boxes, used bottles, and any reusable and recyclable junk worth selling.

​He continued until he finished his Elementary at the Rosario Almario Elementary School. He then went to the condo high school for his secondary High School. He also promoted himself into a pedicab driver. As a teenager he was deprived of indulgence like parties, outings, proms, and other activities for he was busy eking out a living. Despite all of that, he knew that adherence to hard work and believe in oneself are the key ingredients to success.

​After graduating to High School, he was deeply committed to advance in college to change his economics status for the better. He enrolled at the Philippine Maritime Institute and was hoping to get a degree in Marine engineering. He believed that acquiring it would free him from the curse of property by plying into the international waters with the hope of earning dollars. A 1992 while enrolled at PMI, fate set up its twist.

When he was attending a wake in Tondo, star maker Dadie Wowie Roxas spotted him. He stood out among the mourners with his dashing looks, high-bridge nose, thick brows, and innocent smile. He entered a life of glitter and glamour and adopted a screen name Isko Moreno. He was whisked to stand before the camera with the master showman himself, German "Kuya Germs" Moreno on his variety show, That's Entertainment. At first he landed only small Rose but his patience and perseverance paid off he landed big projects that propelled him to be one of the most promising actors of all time. At the peak of his career, he played the beau of young, Claudine Beretto. At his most controversial, he was the poster boy of bare-skin flicks. Despite the blooming career, he saw the opportunity to represent a community.

In 1998, he began a new leaf of his life a career in Politics and Public Service. In spite of being a neophyte politician, he was elected as one of the top counselors of the first District of Manila. He was reelected garnering the most number of votes in all six districts in 2001. His winning ways continued until 2004. He offered and pro-sponsored ordinances and resolutions to address different concerns in the city. He's reign as a city council or continued until 2007. He slowly distant himself from entertainment industry and planted himself in the fertile soil of Manila politics. Despite earning high ranks in polls, his fellow officials looked down at him. Vice Mayor, Danny Lacuna stood as his mentor encouraging him to study while working in the council at the same time. He obtained his Business Administration degree from the Makati-Based International Academy of Management and Economics.

He continued to feed his hunger for learning and took policy courses at the University of the Philippines and the law units at the Arellano University. He would later be sent to Harvard and Oxford for Leadership Programs. Moreno became vice mayor from 2007 up to 2016 under the wings of the giants, Lim and Estrada. While he was the vice mayor, he was known for overseeing the passage of the ordinances that banned the commercial of plastics. He also launched his own programs like "Botika ni Isko" where he set up a pharmacy right inside his to give away free medicine. After his term as vice mayor in 2016, he decided to run for Senate. It was the bid that handed him his first election loss.

2019 has come, Moreno was done waiting and he saw Manileños felt the same too. He ran as mayor of Manila. He believed that Estrada have failed to address the concerns and problems existing inside Manila City. His campaign cost him hours of sleep, a dozen pounds, and a time off from his family. His day begin as early as 4:30 in the morning and ended up as late as 2 a.m. the next day. His youth was his ace, he said, so he had to use it. He knew every road and alley in Manila so it was easily for him to campaign. He repeatedly ask his fellow citizens of Manila to imagine a clean and developed Capital City with its government providing for its people.

He wants a manila back in the race for National Capital Region's most developed city. His chance of winning boosted by delivering his promises and going down to the ground. He was under the Asenso Manileño Party, a local party which has locked it's focus on the development of Manila for over a decade. He also received the endorsement of the bloc-voting Iglesia ni Cristo and El Shaddai Movement. After his campaign, he was declared as the 27th mayor of Manila.

How does Moreno plan to take it all? All of those promise? On an interview with rapper, he said, "I am no Superman I don't have all the answers to your our problems. But it will be different." he declared. After all those hardships that he have encountered, he ended up victorious against the challenges that have given to him. Even all of his accomplishments, the boy from Tondo remains with him. He locked his focus on working and addressing the problems of Manila and making it clean, developed, and a progressive city.

"Walang magmamalasakit sa ating lahat na mga batang Maynila, kundi tayo ring mga kapwa batang Maynila". It was his statement because his aim was to help his fellow Manileños for them you to able to escape from the abyss of poverty. From the slums of Tondo, to Manila's throne. From the wake where he was discovered, to the Manila's highest place. Isko Moreno's life story taught us that nothing is impossible if we are determined to do something. Just like what he said, "I would rather fail in doing something, than fail doing nothing." We should start doing something, in order for us to create a better future for our life.

Gener Pineda Janapon was born on July 31, 1953 in Jaro, Ilo-Ilo. Currently living in 220 Aurora Street Brgy. Zone IV, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. His parents are Ms. Brenvenido Janapon and Mrs. Erlinda Pineda. He had five brothers and five sisters namely Polando Janapon, Gener Janapon, Nelson Janapon, Eduardo Janapon, Edgardo Janapon, Ofelia Janapon, Delia Janapon, Evelyn Janapon, Nenita Janapon and Yolanda Janapon a total of 10 siblings. Living in a harmonious life is everyone's will to live. A life where you don't have to think about what will happen tomorrow. If there will be a tomorrow and if will be part of the future.

Captain Gener isn't from a wealthy family, thus a simple one rich with love and respect. In order to sustain their daily needs, his parents strive harder and he himself also sells "balot" to provide his school expenses and allowance. Along with his siblings for no one would ever help him but him himself. He needs to strive harder molding and building a path to a better future. It doesn't matter how your sweat streams repeatedly onto your body and how tired you were to have a penny in your pocket, you have to find a way and work hard as if there will never be another day for this will be soon worth striving for." He said.

For Captain Gener, every person has its own problem but for him, everything is possible and every problem has its own solution either how big or troubled it was. As he encountered problems in life, what he just think and do is trust the Almighty Father, and so no problems vanished.

Achievements

As a loyal man to his homeland, he run for Purok President of Purok Aurora in Barangay Zone IV and luckily git elected. He promoted as federation president of 23 Purok in Koronadal City in 2002, he run for Barangay kagawad and re-elected on 2007 and 2013. He never spent money on the election for he knows how to win the heart of the citizens without the help of money or wealth but with loyalty and true respect. After his term for Barangay kagawad, he worked on city hall in Community Affairs Task Force Kaayusan member for almost 4 years. Year 2018 he run again for Barangay captain of Zone IV and so because of his courage and as well-known man with a brave heart, he win the throne and currently year 2019 he had a lot of people who trusted him with the barangay and lended his hands onto his people of Aurora. This was all happened because he has dignity and principle in life, as for Captain Gener "You need to do your very best on whatever you do without harming others."

I’m A Father

​He met his wife way back when she's a teacher, someone says true love never exist but for Captain Gener, as he saw the beauty of Mes. Carmelita Janapon, he feels something strange as if he was in love in her at his first sight and so is for Mrs. Carmelita Janapon. They dated and fell inlove deeper with each other and developed a husband and wife realtionship. Their love onto each other brought to life, their two children Andrew Janapon the eldest and Janice Janapon the youngest and builds a happy God centered family. He is now contented to what he has gain with his loving family and children.

​As a father, he taught his children the meaning and importance of life, to work hard and not to take advantage on people and to help those in need.

​His eldest son Andrew Janapon finished his studies on 2004 and the youngest on 2005. Year 2019 his youngest Janice Janapon is in Netherlands with his fianće and started a new life with her family. Captain Janapon feels sad when Janice left them but he can't hinder nor stop his child to be with someone she loves. As far as his daughter is happy so he is, that's how he love his child.

The Aurora Community

Zone IV had 9 million pesos budget. 55% goes to the service fee/salaries of the barangay employees and officials. 10% for SK and calamity fund. 35% was for the projects life building a day care centre, canals, car fuels, and other development fees. For Captain Gener, it isn't hard to manage such money because he's use to do such thing as one of his responsibility as a captain of the barangay, sometimes he even handle large amount of money like 100 million pesos, a money intended for the barangay. Zone IV had a lot of school on its territory, like the well-known public school of Koronadal City, the KNCHS ( Koronadal National Comprehensive High School) whom by Zone IV, both schools and the barangay had a nice relationship, unlike before wherein the where gaps in between their relationship because the voters there weren't all the same side, but yet such issue as that isn't a hindrance for their undeniable connection. Once, there was an earthquake drill in KNCHS, Captain Gener attended on it and he was amazed by the population of the students both Junior and Senior High School, 11 thousand students in such school, it almost covered the field and walking like an ant for him, such a great honour he said, for a school as big this.

Though he had a lot of things to manage, this isn't gave his a tough days though, for he had a good relationship with the state holders like purok president, provincial government and the local government of the City of Koronadal, this relationship is essential for the barangay itself, so whenever will be a need to reconstruct, to build or to improve, there will always a hard that will help or reinforce it that's the case, that's why every road on Zone IV was all concrete except the one's beside Captain Gener's house, because he wanted to prioritize his people whom he loved the most second to his family, and that love for them wasn't a waste nor a regret because they all trusted him all they've got, with the important matters and with their barangay itsel, as the captain of Zone IV, these was very important to strengthen the bonds between you and your people. Feel free to help whenever they wanted and they are for you.

Bayanihan is a system present in their community, humanitarian aspect, and respect to oneself and to others. The people in Zone IV was nice, you just have to talk to them as if you're their neighbor, a good friend, an ally an a family, in that way, it'll be easy to handle them, resulting the prosperous and friendly people of Barangay Zone IV. This accomplishment bring him back the days where the life was tough as rock, he's been through a lot of obstacles on his younger days, he used to work on a rice field planting a hectare of paddy under the heat of the sun, not o mention but Captain Gener had a talent in this industry, all by himself he can finish planting a hectare of rice field and harvest about 200 meters corn field like a flash and without getting sunburns, just having a reddish, sosey like skin after the work and he himself acknowledged his uniqueness and being cute all the times as his ace for making his current wife fall in love with him with the help of declination, humbleness and of course being truly in love without condition and lies.

The Hardworking Man

As a health conscious person, Captain Gener doesn't and isn't used to work on such tough job as lifting and in construction in order to protect his health, in contrary he would rather choose to sell "balot" as an easiest job, hell just sit on the corner waiting for the customer to appoach ,buy, the'll give the money and he'll give the exchange, as simple as that and without any hard movements he gotten enough money, but if you put some patience and dedication on what you're doing, you'll earn much more than you imagine, on selling balot, Captain Gener, earned 10000 while his wife as a teacher earned 5000 on the last election (2018) for barangay captain, his opponent think of him as a simple man who just sell balot and couldn't do more than that and that he could defeat Captain Gener easily for himself as a well-known general but he didn't know that the person he take easily will defeat him without favour. Captain Gener has a characteristic his opponent doesn't have the love and fidelity for his people that keep him on his very owned position for 11 years and still counting he once said, "nothing is impossible if you just plan for it and make it happen", just like what he did on the election, he planned very well on how he could possibly defeat the opponent without hard judgements and punching him, he said thus he had trust on his peoples loyalty to him that drives him to the positive vibes and possibility of winning the battle.

Politics

​There once his opponent on the election reach out every people on Zone IV while riding on his luxurious car waving the people and magniloquently let them saw a photo of himself and the Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte on his phone while Captain Gener humbly walked house to house as he used to do. Sometimes his people got worried about him walking by himself for their might be someone who'll do something unpleasant to him. So the citizens recommended him to get a body guard to be with him all the times and whenever he goes, but he refused. He smiled and said, "its fine, I'm not concerned nor worried about that because I know for sure, no one will do something bad on me and if there is, its wouldn't scare me for I am on my own barangay, every people here knows me well, respect me well and do love me, they'll protect me for sure if that will happen." As for his people and as a loyal him about what his opponent just did, but Captain Janapon humbly stood up and reveal a photo of him with his loving family together with his grandchildren, as he let them saw photo, gladness will be seen from the faces of his citizens as he have family oriented captain who love not only his own family but also his home, his barangay. All throughout his reign, he wasn't scared of being humiliated, to be attacked by other people or someone do something bad on him because he know for sure that he didn't do any wrong, this his intention was all pure and for the sake of his people on Zone IV, not unless if these were mistaken identity.

​As Captain Gener continue walking house to house by himself, the Koronadal City Mayor itself got worried and said, "Cap! I get some bodyguard and I'll be the one to pay them for you." But he resisted again for he had nothing to be worried about in the first place.

The Friendly Captain

​He is proud of every doctor around every corner, because a doctor is God instrument on saving the most important aspect of man which is its life, its soul, which plays the very vital role on man, without the brain and the hands of every doctor, everything you ponder here on earth will be unworthy and useless. Once, Captain Gener grandchild had an intense fever which is very alarming, he immediately run his poor grandchild unhesitant to the nearest hospital, a tricycle driver from Zone IV saw them and offer them a fast ride to the hospital and faithfully, he's grandchild was delivered safely and take care by the doctors and nurses and so a while later, captain Gener grandchild were free and safe from fever.

​He had a friend from T'boli had been actingly bleeding, the patient wanted Captain Janapon to donate his blood to save the patient's life and so without hesitation, Captain Gener took the opportunity to help and donated his blood to the poor patient it was his first time to directly transfer blood through the patient and so the patient was saved, thanks to the kind Captain Gener Janapon and of course with the help of our Almighty God above who's responsible for the miracle.

​He didn't want to hear any discrimination about children because everything he do for the Zone IV is for the sake of the future of every children who'll soon grow and be a man who'll protect his town and country, like when someone don't accept the poor child to go to school because as reported, the child was dirty, Captain Gener got disappointed by the act of the teacher towards its student, so he said to the teacher" I'll terminate you, if you do it again". This stage is a child's beginning into his future so why bother to interfere them and hinder them to do so, a teacher's task is to teach them to be wise about life and on how to be a better man in the future. His wife is a retired teacher that's why he really valued education that much, if the regional board sees a poor child unable to go to school, they'll able to freely go to school and help them be active and create a dream that'll change them and mold them to be a better man.

​ Gener’s Warm Heart

He wanted to help those street kids to go to school and put them a descent clothes on, because a man who's capable of doing it, must take its action be responsible for taking the step unto it.

​He had a daughter whom he loves the most, and a proud scholar, consistent honour, intelligent and a brave woman who didn't use its fathers position to earn what she earned currently, but an incident gave her a grade whom she doesn't deserved but just because its teacher and his father had a bit of political matter, Captain Gener's daughter got a grade of 84, a scholar. No grade below 84, a scholar. No grade below 84 is cumlaude but she insisted rather she said" it’s the father", and now, she passed five exams in Netherlands and got its licensed as a teacher of pilot and currently a principal. Everything that happens to his daughter is because his daughter have and has a will of fire to do exactly what she wants, to turn impossible into possible, but before the examination in Netherlands, his daughter left the Philippines and stayed there because she met her fiancé which is from Netherlands and so she go to reach her goal there as a professional teacher and a principal of pilot in Netherlands. Before Captain Gener's daughter left, he was very sad and disappointed to be left by his only daughter, but that doesn't matter all. The important is his daughter's happiness and success that’s brave enough to face any struggles in life that brought inspiration into her to be able to achieve its goals in life and become a successful one as she is now.

​For Captain Gener, there us no other things that happens to you, only your family, because no matter bad happens to you, only tour family whom you can rely on, you can trust and you can reach on for help and once you learned how to give importance to your family, that's when you'll value things around you, because everything starts in the family. If you are a a bad person, then maybe its starts to your family and so if you are one because a family who handles well their respective members it will grow well and mold the human aspect of being a well person to be respect by others and a man with dignity and heart as Captain Gener Janapon of Zone IV Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

​He's daughther married a dutch, he's daughter is a kind person. He is so proud of her, she passed all board exams, now she has its own family in other country and she leaves Captain Gener. Captain Gener is happy and delighted that she is safe there with her husband, which is the saddest part as a father, it makes Captain Gener emotional behind his own daughther but he is happy daughter as it makes her became a strong and competitive woman. And also he has he's son who also take as a teacher but his son never like it in the first place. He can say that his family is the one who make him strong and still fighting to be a leader in their barangay. Now that he had his family and his grandchildren are his only treasure, giving the Captain Gener's time as they play, and said that " papa lets go to the mall", he make sure that they go to the mall that he can also be a father to his grandchildren.

The Family Oriented Man

​As a person, Captain Gener only treasures his family, because family is the one who are complete. The family need a supportive man to raise them up and as a person of what we want. In the first place, dreams starts with the family before you explore, you need to be a good person and close to your family, be open to them because family need to be a unity and solidarity to be one. If you will get married you need to ask permission first, and let your parents decide if it will be better for you because family knows what is right and wrong. When it comes to their children that's why you as son and daughter respect you as a parent because you love them and make them happy because they're the one Captain Gener have now, no one else just his family.

​In the barangay he choose the person who are in young age to remind as what he did to his daughter and his children because he saw those kids as his children that's why he's happy in his profession as a Captain Zone IV. In doing his service in the barangay. He did not cheat at all; we know the reason of his victory is the people who are beside him like his neighbour, and the people who need his help. Every morning he's walking in the whole barangay to remind the people that he is running as captain and take some coffee in the houses and telling stories for the people. In their barangay he doesn't have any relatives.

​Mayor Miguel gave Captain Gener to run as being a congressman, but then he refuse because he's journey as a barangay captain are just the beginning. He's services and plans is just the tiny action, he want to give his services to their barangay that needs improvement and he want to have satisfaction what the barangay needs. Some of the people underestimate Captain Gener but he proved that he is not just a person and a captain that will sit chair and will do nothing. He doesn't gavr up and surrender. In his years as a captain, people believe in him like Mayor Peter Miguel and also Dr. Pinggoy, they have the trust in Captain Gener's capabilities as a captain of their barangay.

Graduation need a celebration, and we should come up of something memorable to the students, something could vanish their bombarded mind at school works by just one night of enjoying their teenage life and could compensate their worry at school and of course to socialize. Accept the fact that graduating students like me has no time anymore for themselves, to hang out with friends, and to have fun because as busy as bees in fulfilling our requirements enable to step-up in the new chapter. Best intervention is to have our graduation ball as it remember the whole journey of our high school life, staring on ourselves wearing makeup and glittering gowns implicate that we’ve grown up and matured. Graduation is the climax for our countless years of hard work, new encounters and new companionships, and we are blessed to end-up this important event on our lives in this home of the champions, our future alma mater, KNCHS. I think this important occasion deserves a big celebration as we say our last farewell to this institution.

We truly understand and aware on the last year's complained about the graduation payments and contribution but the punishment is not on us. We are greatly aware on the complains of the parents on last year's graduation celebration but believe me those who complained are the ones who are not attending the meetings and assemblies. We were dismayed when you first announced that next year's batch which is ours, will not having their graduation ball. You saw our reactions but we did not lost hope that you will change your mind and continue the tradition that gives the students confidence to show what they've already become in just one night. As the past year of having graduation ball, when we will be moving-up fo ourr junior life, that experience was unforgettable as girls has this feeling of being a lady also with boys to be gentleman. It was successful and everyone had a goodtime. That experience proved the belief that high school life is the best one and most enjoyable stage of learning. You will have that romantic and excited feeling as you expecting for your crush to have dance with you or just a grown up lady or man if someone asks you to dance. You will see your beautiful and handsome friends for tonight's event and see them in different side. You will even see someone you armired more pretty or handsome than usual you see him/her in school. I just wanted to tell that those who are not want to join for the celebration, then they are not allowed. No need for compulsory. If they didn't want to release an any amount of money, then they are free to no for graduation ball. If they didn't want their son and daughter to enjoy this portion of being a teenager, then give freedom to their decision. And those who wanted to become their high school life memorable then, they have that freedom to join but with the consent of their parents.

Koronadal National Comprehensive High School has always been shining and continues to shine on the Region and even in National contests and it only shouts the fact that we are truly embodying our mantra SIKAT.As SIKAT and as a representative of contests specifically on Press Conference I am doing my very best in every way possible to represent the KNCHS hard.

Thankfully, we have our Principal Mr. Valentin Dignadice Jr. who was always there for us and have helped us to be molded well and it pushed us to get out of our cocoons and come out as beautiful butterflies. There may be few negativity but he never let those negativity eat out the best in this school. We are known in different fields, may it be sports, nor academic contests and we’ve always been on top for we want only what’s best for the school. I think we have done our best in every way possible. This school helped us to foster skills that will always be used ones we face the real world. We are about to end the school year and after this, the grade 12 students will be on to their own paths, and we really want to end our studies here with good memories, That’s why we the Grade 12 students wanted to have our graduation ball for us to have memories that we’d bring in our hearts forever. The battles we had for the past 6 years have shown us that life will never be easy, but life has a lot to offer, we were just molded to become better individuals and for us to know how to deal with real life, But for now a good graduation and a glamorous graduation ball would be a just like a celebration for our hard works these past few years that we’ve spent at our beloved KNCHS.

Greetings to Sir Valentine Dignidice good day to you sir, the principal of the KNCHS or Koronadal National Comprehensive High School, he has a lot of achievements that he achieved with hard work and every one of those achievements are mostly outstanding, the following achievements are really has a good benefits to others like remodeling the KNCHS so it would be a better, a better surroundings, better students which is more disciplined and more well trained students for he is more strict and respected by the students of KNCHS which he used to apply also to other students, and the transferees in the said school, so that every students can maintain there attitudes has been teach to them until the time they get there Jobs.

The KNCHS is a school with well disciplined student, and we’ll trained for their unbelievable skills that can be brought out by the students by their experiences and by their mistakes that they wanted to be corrected, this is only a public school but it acts like a private school because of their teachings, disciplines, and others. The students here has high intelligence and others are still learning to be intelligent like the others, this school has more than 7,000 students over here, KNCHS student shows skillful at something.

Sir val may I humbly suggest you that may you change your mind about banning the graduation ball for it is not the fault of the current students, that was the students before at the 12th grade who have done those things you have said for the current students to be happy and enjoy that event before they leave the campus or KNCHS.

And I prefer also that the graduation event should be done at the gymnasium because of the hot condition of the weather these days, blame not us but the last students here who did all those things that you said from us, I also ask you about the toga that is used on the graduation, I know that the students need it on the graduation even if the parents would not like it, but think about the students who wants to show the world that they succeeded and ready for the next year of their challenges, they are seem to be disappointed not having those things.

About The Cancellation of Graduation Ball

Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences, so here I am trying to amplify my voice as a Batang KN to you Sir Valentine Dignadice our Principal about a certain matter—the cancellation of our Graduation Ball.

The cancellation of Graduation Ball has been the most talked about issue around the campus this week. It’s a sudden decision from the authority and the mass are not oriented about it. Everyone was at state of shock when the news circulated throughout the campus. It earned different reactions from the common folks. Some agreed but most are at rage. Graduation ball is not just a typical ball for us students, it is a night for us to fully express ourselves and to feel confident once in a while fully to dress up on the attire of our choice, it is psychological because we tend to feel appealing when we are dressed up formally especially when it comes to this type of event. It might sound like a joke but it is the reality. This ball changes the state of mind of many. It encourages students to go out of their shells and to be proud to face the crowd for once.

Also I firmly believe that this event should not be cancelled. Senior High school life is incomplete without Graduation Ball. I believe the school should continue the celebration every year and should not remove Graduation Ball out from the school calendar because it determines the endpoint of a journey worth celebrating with people who became part of each other’s development and growth as individuals who are entering the college life. Additionally, I want the school to review their decision with our student-leaders for they best represent the majority in pushing the subject forward and making it a school priority as well. Regarding with the complaints raised by the parents of the students, it has to be rediscussed for I think it was miscommunication between the the institution and the parents that disrupted the fluency of the big event.

Graduation is a memorable part of our lives because we as a student has achieved and worked hard to make our parents proud Graduation is a ceremony that is celebrated by those who have done their part as a student and work hard on their task to commit the degree they deserve. As a student of KNCHS, I would like to state my thoughts about this year's issue about the graduation that there will be no grad ball and no yearbook and the students would only wear their uniform for graduation is too much of a pain that some students this year would not enjoy and make their high school life memorable. As a young fellow person, we only have a few time left to enjoy life and make memories with our friends because not all the time we will be young and not all the time our friends will stay by our side we might part ways as we moved on and go to different schools some may be still near us and some may be far from us that we might lose communication. But with just a simple yearbook and a last moment of time of our year that we might not forget would be the best gift and award for us graduates.

The school has achieved more than just knowledge they also gain awards from the City. KNCHS Students especially the grade 12 students that are soon to graduate tend to participate for this is their last year to join this kind of events they tend to practice really hard in the heat of the sun even though they are stressed out from day and night because of constant practice and at the same time balancing their academic performance in school they still participate for the sake of the name of the school and to enjoy their last year as a high school student and to win and attain the title of a champion because we are well known to be a school of competitive people were some also some students in our school are athletes.

Every day or every time there would be a news report or radio report about our school winning and gaining another award and achievement the students would be in joy that the pride of our school has once again been raised. We all know how the school especially the students are when some events or competitions happen they tend to support and cheer for the school as well as their friends that has participated in it. But those people aren’t just joining for their own benefits but also for the memories and friends they’ll meet and gain. As a young fellow person, the joy of life is like a thread it is long but not thick which means we have so many chances in life at our very young age and we should do things to the fullest without looking back and regretting and because we will never know when will that thread break but we should also limit the joy in our lives and take responsibilities of our actions and life because our thread of life is fragile and thin being cautious can let us avoid from breaking its thread. And as you can see our school has been more enhanced now and had won about a million for every competitions. I would like to address this to our honorable principal Sir Val Dignadice and to please let him know that the purpose of my testimony is not to degrade his choice but to at least consider our opinion and would like to voice out that this is for all those who were wishing and begging for a Graduation that could be memorable because it is just a once in a lifetime opportunity for us Especially the grade 12 students to once again experience graduating in the honor of our achievements from this past years. Because from the very beginning till the end, we had enjoyed our moments as a high school student we had experienced and learned from our friends, teachers, family, and the school we had left our smiles and hearts carved in our school that would make us hard to let go. Before we graduate we have suffered and been through so many challenges and stressed out from being bombarded with requirements we cried we weep but still, we smiled in the morning.

The province is named after its largest island, Palawan Island, measuring 450 kilometers long, and 50 kilometers wide. Palawan is known to have sceneries that is worth to witness with your own eyes because of its world class islands and beaches and beautiful sceneries. In fact, the Underground River at Puerto Princesa, Palawan Philippines was voted in 2012 by the global community as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World for being the longest navigable subterranean river on January 28, 2012. Prior to this it has also been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. From that, we can conclude that Palawan is a worthy place to visit in the Philippines.

Palawan has many wonderful places to offer. One of which is the Kayangan Lake in Coron. This lake is by far the most popular spot for very good reasons. It’s a crystal clear freshwater lake with unbelievable underwater rock formations, which make it one of the most incredible sites in Coron. It is located in Coron Island. The simplest way to get there is by boat. There are lots of tours available and they range in price. Options are a full-day island hopping tour, rent a private boat or a multi-day expedition around Coron Island and nearby islands. Snorkeling is one of the activities that you can do here. There is also a cave that most people do not know about, epic free-diving and of course, the famous viewpoint.

One of the must see spot in Palawan is the Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park. It encompasses one of the world’s most impressive cave systems, featuring spectacular limestone karst landscapes, pristine natural beauty, and intact old-growth forests and distinctive wildlife. Once you entered in, you’ll feel like you’re transported to a postcard-worthy oasis of tranquility and beauty. It was so beautiful that it was chosen in 2011 as one of the New 7 Wonders, sharing the spotlight with likes of Table Mountain, Komodo Island, Jeju Island, Iguazu Falls, Halong Bay and the Amazon rainforest. Isn’t that amazing? The river flows directly underneath the St Paul Mountain Range, found on the mid-western coast of Palawan island. The river system was created millions of years ago as water channelled its way through the rock creating a series of vast chambers and caverns. The cave system stretches for a total of 24km beneath the mountains. Visitors can explore a smaller portion – entering the cave from the point where the underground river reaches the sea. A trip to the subterranean river national park is absolutely worth the effort if you're visiting Palawan. It's an otherworldly experience as you paddle through the dark. The clicking of bats and the echoing drips of water are the only sounds you hear. You'll glide through cavernous rock cathedrals and past stalactites into the centre of the earth. The jumping-off point for the underground river is the small village of Sabang. Sabang is located around 40km north of the capital of the island – also called Puerto Princesa. Philippines is known for its culture and heritage and it has pulled tourists to come and visit the country that’s rich in culture and that has beautiful people. The past was really full of culture and it creates a diverse yet beautiful country, and it only proves that their is beauty in diversity.

The country that ones was full of culture and heritage was slowly losing it. That’s why our government and some cities are creating ways to preserve the color of the Philippines. Vigan City is one of the most known city that cultivates heritage, culture and norms of the Philippines for it brings back the memories history, and the sacrifices that our heroes have made.

If you’ve ever been there, it really will bring you back on time when life was really simple, where there were nothing much but still it really is beautiful. Our stay there wasn’t that expensive, it was really affordable and the food there was really good especially their Bagnet, Longanisa and Empanada. The houses were really old and even their fast foods which are McDo,Jollibee and Chow king were really inspired with the theme of the City.They also have the famous fountain and Calle Crisologo where you can buy souvenirs and see the beauty of the preserved ancestral houses .You may also take Pictures in the most famous Kalesa but if possible we should refrain from riding it because the horses were hit thoroughly and you can really see the pain in their eyes.

It isn’t only known for its culture and heritage but also with their Zoo called Baluarte where you can find different animals from different countries, such as Lions, Tigers, Leopard, Zebra, Giraffe and many more. You may take pictures with them but you should be sensitive with them for they have feelings and they need to be respected.

Vigan indeed is a beautiful place to visit, you can come back to time and feel what it feels like during 1990’s. We have to preserve our culture and heritage despite the influence of different cultures from different countries. We have to step up our love to the Philippines by at least promoting, loving, preserving and patronizing our beautiful culture.

I’ve had a great time visiting this wonderful place, I know you’d love this place too, because you will learn a lot from our history and you can get a glance with our heritage. The prices aren’t expensive at all, it is very affordable you just have to explore and discover cheap yet beautiful place to stay for the days you would stay at the Vigan. Beautiful place, cheap price, and beautiful people, this place is a must visit.

Getting the chance to see this extravagant place makes me feel lucky, lucky to feel what it feels like to be back on the time where love was really pure and efforts were really important. Seeing Vigan makes me proud of our historical story for its like a dream to get to experience the ambiance of the 90’s and even 80’s for it was simple yet everything feels so genuine.
