For the past few months I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in lovelivecollabs' Love Live Zine for the franchise's 16th anniversary! Came in with a plan to make an illustration...and ended up adding a portrait, chibi, and a whole bunch of stickers to the list^^;
So lets start off with the illustration!
I had the idea for the SEGA girls to have a fun day at the arcade, and wanted to focus especially on backgrounds along with their silly shenanigans!
I crammed in so many little references in here, some way more obvious than others, maybe you can find them all? :]
Next is a chibi of Hikaru from the School Idol Musical! Granted I knew nothing of the musical when I took her, but she is singlehandedly the reason I watched the entire drama^^ Her pose is taken straight from Kimi to Miru Yume!
Then there's my summer uniform Mari Portrait! She's always such a delight to draw, and I love how soft the shading turned out :D
And lastly are my assortment of stickers of various Aqours and Musical related objects! (and a single Saint Snow one lol)
Love Live means so much to me artistically, so being a part of this project was such a fun way to celebrate it's anniversary!
