Just A Girl In A Big World

This is a common TV/film trope called the Sex Shirt Switch (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SexyShirtSwitch) usually indicating that two people had sex by having one of them (usually a woman) wear the shirt of the other (usually a man). Only later we learn that Sherlock did not touch Janine with a ten-foot-pole have sex with Janine.

And then there is this: Sherlock in a key scene of THoB wearing his trademark purple shirt.

And here we have John having breakfast wearing a purple shirt (not the same but very similar in colour). As far as I remember this is the only time John has worn this shirt or colour in the show. Sexy shirt switch symbolism, anyone?
