Finding some of my old work from about a year a go, and realizing how much I've improved since then. Practice doesn't make perfect, but I've been able to develop my own style and have seen more of a confidence in my brush strokes! #huesofgrace

We had a guest speaker in my Conflict and Communication class last week, and this line really stuck with me. As Christians, forgiveness is an expectation, not an option. That struck me deep. Yes, we all have struggles. And yes, forgiveness can be easier said than done. BUT if we want to live our lives to glorify His kingdom, we need to learn to forgive, no matter how big or small the situation. It's not a feeling, it's a CHOICE! Let's choose to forgive, because Jesus forgave us. #huesofgrace

Let me tell y'all about my little sister. She has the longest, straightest, prettiest hair ever. She's so dang hipster and rocks it flawlessly. Not many people can pull off overalls and neon yellow high tops, but she can. She's vegan, and I have mad respect for her because I don't think I could ever be that disciplined + she loves cactuses, and gave me the inspiration to paint them!
