“fine, i think i could manage that.”

“aw honey, don’t cry now.” he mocked her words from earlier. “maybe?”

“quite dangerous. ice cream? you’re an actual five year old? what type of ice cream?”

“i feel quite threatened and unsafe right now.”

“psh, i’m not crying.” he argued, faking a frown. not that it was hard anyway, he sort of had a resting sad face. “this time? so when will you do it then?”

“do you really want to slap me that much? this is bullying, very rude.”

“but there’s no thrill in that if ya know you’re winning.” he thought the question for a second, still feeling slightly embarrassed by it. “slap it, yeah...wait, no. just say something like; hudson shut up.”

i don’t know, catch up with my sisters or whatever. get a dog. maybe open my own studio.

“i wanted to be a garbage man, you know the ones with the trucks that pick up your trash? i guess i did become the garbage man in some type of way.”

“that’s so boring though! it’s kind of like cheating, you never truly worry about whether your team is gonna win or not. yes, i think that’s more entertaining as well. oh thanks, if i do  get boring just shut me up.”

“what’s that supposed to mean?” he couldn’t help but feel slightly irritated, not because of gemma herself but everything going on. “you’re drunk off your ass you might as well have the same coordination skills of one.” it was highly inconvenient that she decided to now go to the bathroom, but it’s not like he could do anything but wait for her to come back. he rested his elbow on the counter, his hand tangling in his hair as he tried to think about what just happened.
