cyndi was relieved when donna had no comeback or snappy remark in response. mainly because it was often difficult to win any argument against the feisty brunette so this was a first. “i feel bad for him … especially ‘cause he was probably right,” she had to admit she only made the comment to add to already constant teasing she was doing to donna. but a part of her knew she was also right in her choice of words but that was a conversation for another day. “you’ll be first on my list. i don’t know about watson. his first pick would probably be gio,” cyndi shrugs in response, the thought of marriage a long way off for now. things were a little too complicated to even think of such things. but thick brows raise at the brunettes last comment, “why do you say that? i thought things were going great with you two? and you’re right. you’d definitely be a bridezilla, no guy would ever be able to handle that.” with a playful nudge to her shoulder, she’s hoping it’ll return the now gloomy mood to something much more lighthearted.

by now, taylor is all too accustomed to donnas spontaneous decisions to swing by his place. and usually, he was free and lounging about the place, either bothering wesley or taking advantage of having the place to himself when both river and wesley were out. today he was alone, rewatching star wars when he hears the front door and he comes to realise it’s donna. normally, he would’ve stayed where he was, tried to convince her to watch the film with him but something was off today. there was no witty remark, no suggestive tone, nothing but a simple hi. and so he switches the tv off and stands to his feet, nodding in response, “yeah think river and wesley have hopefully gone to replace all my fanta fruit punch they keep stealing,” he answers, head tilting as he eyes the brunette, mind raking over anything he’s said in the past day or so that might’ve caused her to suddenly change. “is everything alright?” taylor asks, reaching to pull her into a tight embrace, not entirely sure what he’s done wrong or what’s happened but the least he can do, is offer some comfort in the form of a hug. and if she wanted to talk it out, he was more than okay with listening.
