ROBLOX: Ascension Program

Welcome to the Ascension Program AU askblog! :D Written and run by @eventide-paradox (that's me!) with help from a few friends, this AU focuses primarily on the daily goings-on of Roblox HQ (at least for now) from the perspectives of Wyatt and Echo, two trainee moderators recruited as part of the titular Ascension Program.

Help or hinder, discover secrets or bury them deeper, play the hero or act the monster...it's all up to you.

The screen is full of static…wait, not just any static. It occasionally turns pink every few seconds. If you listen closely, you might hear some sort of mumbling within it.

Wyatt approaches the computer cautiously, lines of code already running diagnostics on his panel to reveal...nothing. Nothing out of the ordinary, at least...strange.

"...Heya? Somebody, like...in there, or somethin'?"

Echo sputters.

“Uhh- mozzarella sticks- and grapes too, they're good- fri- no, that’s more of a full meal- maybe- wait, that’s a breakfast, no… Marshmallows! Marshmallows! ...Yeah- “

Yeah, of course! :D

We love getting interactions over here, just in general- we had to reboot this blog entirely a while back, so anything that can help us get back to our feet (that being…basically anything at all!) is more than welcome ^^

"We...haven't decorated 'em yet? Told ya, we kinda just got here-"

Until then... how's the environment? We're certainly never gonna be where you are! Is there furniture? snacks? whats the water situation? whats it taste like?

"…Sure. So- we're in the dorms right now. Pretty basic, apparently we're s'posed to decorate ourselves…plenty o' snacks though, yeah."

“…They're available at basically every lounge in HQ. We're able to request specific items too."

She pauses for a moment.

"Nnnope. Not a clue. Between you and me, I wouldn't be surprised if it was random or somethin'..."

How’s adjusting to your new life been?

"Uh...fine, I guess? Mostly just been tourin' the place, gettin' acquainted with all the stuff we'll need t'do...y'know, the basics. Boss man's a lot less intimidatin' than I'd have expected, that's for sure."

Wyatt chuckles quietly.

“…We haven’t been expected to do too much. They’ve been updating records, which is…really nice. I haven’t spoken to Telamon much, but sometimes he just…shows up and observes us.“

Echo glances around, as if half-expecting Telamon to appear now that he's been invoked.

"I can’t tell if he’s judging me or not…maybe he’s wondering how he’s gonna cook me.“

Available Data: We…aren’t quite sure why Telamon made the decision he did- Echo doesn't really seem like the type of mentee he'd decide on, does she? Prior to recruitment, Echo was employed at a factory with…questionable practices (Investigation Underway). She's polite, but she’s so tense all the time. Not too sure she's cut out for all this..
