Can we talk about how brave Harry was for giving that interview to The Quibbler about the graveyard events? It was such a strong and mature thing to do. He talked about horrifying experiences he desperately tried not to think about, the same things that haunted his nightmares, so that people could learn the truth. And it genuinely helped the Order of the Phoenix — it helped some people finally believe.
I think Sirius (and not just him, but other Order members too, maybe Lupin) would’ve been incredibly proud of Harry in that moment. It’s a shame we never got to see his reaction. And James would’ve been proud of him too.
And honestly, the aftermath makes the whole moment even better. Umbridge’s reaction and the school’s reaction were priceless. Professor Sprout giving Harry tons of points for “passing her a watering can,” and Flitwick secretly giving him sweets was amazing.
Hermione, on one hand, did a good job coming up with the idea. But on the other hand, she really should have asked Harry if he was ready for that, considering how hard he tried to avoid the topic when talking to other people. It was tactless of her, even if Harry ultimately agreed.
