"Her captivity is inherently unjust and inhumane. It is an affront to a civilized society, and every day she remains a captive — a spectacle for humans — we, too, are diminished" - Jenny Rivera

I suffer from severe depression, a lingering OCD, CPSTD, fatigue, and strange blackouts that often result in my phone slipping from my hand or me bumping into walls.
I'm now dealing with a 480 $ (it used to be 340$ a couple of days ago and then not only the fees multiplied like ants, but I find myself needing cash for medical care) overdraft, while needing urgently to cover transportation costs, medical expenses, and much needed toiletry.
Oh, and also clothing and apparel as seams are slowly wearing down in every other corner.
This means that not only do I need to raise the 480 $ to refund my overdraft, but I also need to raise 480$ as a general goal. I hate it, but it's somewhat urgent and time sensitive.
50/960$

The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall
Stephen is an ideal child of aristocratic parents—a fencer, a horse rider and a keen scholar. Stephen grows to be a war hero, a bestselling writer and a loyal, protective lover. But Stephen is a woman, and her lovers are women. As her ambitions drive her, and society confines her, Stephen is forced into desperate actions. The Well of Loneliness was banned for obscenity when published in 1928. It became an international bestseller, and for decades was the single most famous lesbian novel. It has influenced how love between women is understood, for the twentieth century and beyond.

i'm an enby butch trans woman and it pains me so much that so many trans people are anti-transmasc, it's devastating to see that our trans brothers and siblings have to endure discrimination WITHIN the trans community. i'm so sick of how some of you treat transmascs and trans men. DO BETTER!
(Quds) In a single strike, Israel killed two entire extended families. The bodies of 308 victims remained under the rubble for two years, and today only 112 of them are being buried. The shocking irony is that no one is calling for the removal of the weapons used in the genocide or the prohibited weapons with which Israel killed more than 73,000 Palestinians in two years.

everyone is so hyped for ryan gosling ghost rider and i am dreading it i hate it it's soooo wrong
why is the two wolves meme anti-indiginous?
It’s based on a story that is falsely attributed to Natives, usually but not always the Cherokee. It’s a settlers’ approximation of how we talk and what we believe. To parrot that phrasing uncritically is pretty anti-indigenous, and the fact that it’s so commonplace is indicative of how little thought it given to the mockery of Indigenous spirituality and how frequently it’s appropriated
Oh and to add to this: no, I don’t really think there’s any good way to, like, rehabilitate this one. Like any sort of rephrasing from the original is still ultimately going to have the same roots. I don’t think you can swap out “wolves” for another animal or concept and then have it be okay, I do think the phrase just needs to be abandoned entirely. Just pointing this out because I’ve noticed when people learn that a joke or statement is in some way anti-Indigenous they love to try and workshop on how the basic premise can still be salvaged—like what people have being doing for ages with trying to find replacements for white people calling things their “spirit animal”. And it’s just kind of exhausting to see. Sometimes you need to just let things go and/or accept that certain things are not for you!
