The drive there was quiet.
I had my music playing. I don't think Audrin was used to the music choice, but he didn't complain.
I couldn't stop looking over at Cooper. As we drove through the dirt back roads in such a warm forest setting I watched as the summer sun beamed through the trees and reflected against Cooper highlighting his best features. The wind brushed over us leaving us warmed but cool. This was a moment of bliss for the four of us I think...and I was in a state of awe.
Cooper looked really content with the drive too.
When we got to the park I felt like we were all kids again. Tossing the baseball to each other and laughing...even though I usually can't catch it...and I got hit in the face AND head with it a few times...it was still nice.
It was nice to have the three of us together again. Teasing one another and just simply feeling alive, it was nice having Audrin there too. He didn't play catch with us, but he sat with Watson and just seemed to enjoy the moment with us.
Cooper was smiling and he just seems so happy again. I miss seeing him like this. He's so busy with his studies I think he forgets there's more to life from to time.
We're going swimming at some secret place that Tyler and Audrin found now though.

Audrin told me he loves Tyler.

So, I used more of my tactical skills and climbed onto the roof and broke into the house through the window. Go figure it was Tyler's window. I could tell by the set up of his room.
Finding his house wasn't too hard either. Biggest house on the street, just like in Cali.
When I broke in I even saw Watson! Man, it was nice to see him, who would've thought I missed that dog so much!
Coops and I are waiting in the kitchen for Ty to get here now.

I guess I haven't been taking this journal thing very seriously...and I wasn't really intending too...but...today I was left with this pain in my chest and maybe writing about it will make it go away...so...here it goes.
Cooper and I are freshmen in college, and lately I've been slacking...horribly. I can't focus on my studies...as much as I try it's just not that easy. Meanwhile, Cooper is excelling. He's like a fuckin' god in school. Good greats, athletic, every girl adores him...and then I'm just his short troublesome friend.
I'm not allowed at his house, his family doesn't like me. For good reason I guess...I'm bad news.
However, he works himself too hard. Studying like crazy to be what his FAMILY wants him to be. Believing what his FAMILY wants him to believe.
He's my best fucking friend...and no matter what I'm out doing...smoking, fights, skipping out of class....WHATEVER it might be...he's always been there supporting me...picking me up when I needed a friend.
I just...don't feel I'm able to stand up to that kind of standard for him...but...I want to see him climb to the top. I don't care if I have to stay at the bottom, as long as he can be at the top of HIS ambitions. I'll be okay where I am....I'll always be here for him...as best as I can.
Ignore all of that...too much emotion for this thing...fuck.
