This girl on fb posed in a bernie shirt today and her dad goes “nooooo” and makes commentary on the left wing commies and whatever. He goes on that when she starts making real money (I guess as opposed to the fake money she makes now as a happily married, college educated woman whose saving for a house) then she’ll change her mind.  She goes “Your mom raised me on welfare and whatever they could nickel and dime you for because you couldn’t be bothered to raise me. Now I’m $30,000 in debt for a college education because rich people have figured out how to steal from poor students in a new and fancy way. Now that I’m an adult I’m comfortable funding other young women just like me with fathers just like you.”  And he shut the hell up. 

He’s gonna be feeling that bern for a while huh

this is a post that deserves to be broken. One day I would like nothing more than too see this has too many notes.

People are still good. For some reason the negativity is all we pay attention to, but there are still good things happening in the world. We just need to be reminded of that once in a while.
