Mod here. After a much needed hiatus, we're back, and we're ready to be active. Expect a full Dante ref, new tags, and a fresh new look.
Dante's also going to be redesigned slightly, and DEFINITELY will have more art to go along with him. I'm even considering response cards or whatever the hell they're called, and an additional muse or two.

Dante glances at you with a fiery glare, his golden eyes searching you- suddenly replaced by a deceptively lax grin.
"Nahh, you don't even gotta worry 'bout that. Y'see, Boss is a man of selective tastes. He only picks the best of the bunch, and unfortunately, you might not cut it. Even if he were single, I don't think you'd have much luck."
He chuckles- hand on the steering wheel. Did I mention he's driving himself to work?

He grins, he knew that would get Dante's attention. "Right here. I think I have a place to call you that though, I would know." Jade is still pretty nervous but Dante hasn't knocked it on its ass yet. They stand in front of him now, their snakes have perked up, seeing a familiar face.
"Wait, wait a minute-" [Beneath the glasses, the Inferno's eyes narrow. Something connects inside his head, although barely. Hmmm.. snake person? Gorgon? Who knows him?] "Am I trippin' right now or are you a ghost?"
Orochi has taken an interest to you. I guess your flames remind him of Hell, where hes from. This is rare, would you like to pet him, or perhaps touch his soft wings?
"Woah. Uh, hey there." [He's never seen such a hellcat, or whatever this is- he's seen scarier things, though, and Orochi seems friendly enough. The Inferno fishes a treat from his pocket, probably originally intended for his dogs.]

Right on time! Guess who's been utterly miserable all day? Sliding in, and out of the world of the wake, stressed as shit?

Normally irresistible voice now flat as a board. Glued to the phone's screen, like hypnotized. His only part that even still gives off signs of life being the wagging pair of giant boots he's put on the desk.
"Just wanted to, uh, see how you were doin'. If it's okay." [He carries a bag, sure to be packed with valuables- after all, it's still February! He might be late, but that's not going to discourage Dante from being the simp he is.]
[The Inferno's even dressed somewhat nicely, his jeans are no longer torn and he's wearing a different jacket. Shirt's clean, too. If that wasn't enough, he seems even more antsy around Blitz than he usually is. Something is definitely happening.] "You're not- busy today, are you? I-if you are, that's totally okay, Boss, just wonderin'-"
He's too lost in thought to care. Absent and inattentive... Got to stop re-reading old texts Blitz. They're not bringing you any closer. You're only hurting yourself.
"Oh, hey... Shades. Didn' see you there."
Finally, moving his legs to see who is in front of him. In attempt to disguise the mopey mood, Blitz ends up coming off as oblivious... Oh well, it's a silver lining.
"... How'zabout you tells me wha'tchu in here fo' first, an' then I pick my words?"
"I'm in here for you. I... uh, I booked a place." [He smiles awkwardly, opening the bag and taking out a singular flower, offering it to Blitzer. Dante, as stupid as he may be, knows when something's up. So he cuts right to the chase, not wanting to waste Blitz's time.]
"Gotcha some sweets, too. Don't know if ya like Valentine's Day or any of that sappy shit, but I figured I would while it's on sale. N-not that I don't mind gettin' it for ya anytime, just- aw, whatever."
His emotions return once he'd accepted the small offering, glass eyes turning oh so sad, mouth barely agape. Seemingly, stuck mid- arrogant remark. Blitz knew. His sparky's no idiot- More of a dummy.
"-!? Y-you, you w-..? Ya... Shouldn'ave..."
Taking it in his claws, twirling it in hold. Looking from the flower, to Dante, and back, and forth, and back again... Even with that, he can't find right words yet. Jaw clamping shut as Blitzer starts his brain up again one more time, working through dozens of questions, snapping fingers as he stammers... That is a first.
"Wh-? You? Why'd- Wha... Where did..?"
Thoughts, catching up with the tongue. Setting both hands together, sucking in a cooldown breath upon settling on one single thing he must know most urgent.
" ... Fo' when."
Not even gonna regard the sweets? Or, wait. Yeah, good call actually. Answers first. He needs a plan, there is always a plan, there just simply MUST be a plan.
"Six, six thirty. It's just outside of town, I'm pretty sure we can get there without a hassle. I'll drive us, if you want." [The Inferno sheepishly rubs the back of his flame, sparks dancing this way and that as he watches Blitzer's stoicism fade away.]
[Still, Dante has his worries, a whole bunch of them that could've been avoided, had he checked with his intended date beforehand. What if the time didn't work? Or if Baltimore had something else planned for this time? There are only so many hours in a day.. They try their best to hide their anticipation.]
At half past seven..? OUTSIDE of town? DANTE DRIVING? THE Dante, aka, the number one holder of the "most trucks absolutely totaled in a month" WORLD RECORD? Like the idea of a “date” out with them wasn't terrifying enough as is- No, oh what the hell. Should he lie?
Or, just... Get over his own, debilitating fear, and simply get this over with too?
"Oh, t-tha's, uh... The, outskirts, right?"
Unnecessarily stupid questions, to buy more time for thought with? So typical.
"... I, uh... I'dunno... Had a long day. Or... Let me, jus', uh... Think, for a minute..?"
Pointer claw taps against the side of his shiny head, pondering hesitantly... Blitz looks down, at the phone in other hand. Heaving a sigh. A crushing guilt sets in.
"Mhm, just past downtown. A real quiet place, no- traffic or anythin'.." [They engage in the idle banter, almost as nervous as Blitz, if not for the same reasons. Anything to take the Inferno's mind off of the possibility of rejection. It's all he can do to keep his smile from faltering as they hear Blitz's uncertainty.]
"Yeah, yeah, sure! I, uh, gotta go grab somethin' anyhow, so-" [He sets the bag onto the nearest table and begins to back off into the door that he entered through. Of course, Dante knows he can't drive for shit. But he wants to seem.. capable. Trustworthy, like he can handle himself and Blitzer too. Even if that isn't entirely true..]
Oh Dante, you poor little fool. Whatever reasons it may have to be anxious, Blitz nor his own couldn't possibly be further from them. Tragic. Crushing, if you will.
"A-ah, ha... So, I, uh... Don' gotta stress too much 'bout dress code then, righ'?"
Half on the silly side, faintly on the very real and very genuinely wondering side.
"--Whoa wha wha- Hol'up twinkle eyes! You, don' go runnin' off nowhere 'till I-- 'T-till I say you free to go! Get back'ere!"
Some time together is enough for Blitz to find cause for worry right there- Guy is backing up already but hasn't even at all specified how're they gonna meet up yet! Blitzer NEEDS specifics! He will be confused without them! He'll fuck it up!
[Dante stops in his tracks, mere steps away from escape- the easy way out. His cheeks darken at the new nickname, nudging his glasses back up and straightening his back. Blitz's creative genius never fails to amaze.] "Okay- okay, I ain't goin' nowhere. I mean, 's not like ya could possibly do any worse than I am, in terms of... er, style."
[It's somewhat self-aware, at least enough so that it knows wearing the same black jacket and shades around everywhere gets a little bit tacky after a while. Dante's not flattering for the sake of flattery, there's an edge of honest admiration in their voice- that, for once, he's not trying to cover.]
Seeing the Inferno flushing in response is what helps his own mind find course.
"... Dante, you stop wi' that guilt trippy shit befo' I change my goddamn mind."
Regarding the whole thing in that very recognizable manner- Interlacing light hearted laughter with a genuine threat.
"Fuckin'... Jus'stay put an' talk to me fo' once. Why ya always in a hurry to book it straigh' outta tha'door, eh? Do I bite?"
Uh oh, his prior mood is returning- As is the way more level headed approach to the situation. Now that initial shock has passed, Blitzer can get ahold of himself. And before you ask, yes. It's a rhetorical question. He bites. Occasionally. A little.
"Sorry, didn't mean ta... uh..." [Dante looks down at his shoes, cooling down a bit from those pointed (yet true) remarks. Blitz knows he scares them, right? That's his whole thing. Big, powerful, scary. At least to Dante.]
[He sits and waits- or rather, stands in place and shifts about nervously, waiting for Blitz to say something. Holding his tongue to avoid making things worse, hands shoved in his coat pockets, glancing up at Blitzer and trying his best to seem casually confident or cool. The vibes are hard to maintain.]
Dante, the Inferno, still terrified of him? The way his eyebrow proceeds to cock upward is at best described as comical.
"... “Mean ta” what? ... Is somethin' up?"
While, still choppy, there is now a mean undertone to Baltimore's sentence. Like a sassy receptionist that is DTF 97% of the time, or, something, we don't know.
"You uh... Wanna take a seat or i'unno?"
The Inferno's insecure footing and wavy posture tell more than needed. There is no free chair in sight. Blitzer is aware of that... And, is readily offering his lap, as he spins the big chair around of course.
[After a buffering time of two or three seconds, the Inferno nods slowly, making sure that he heard that right. It's not the most intimate thing he's done with Blitz, so why is he so damn nervous? They remind themselves not to take too long, lest the bombhead revoke the offer, and so Dante approaches, sliding in with some ease.]
[With his back pressed against Blitzer's chest, the hothead sighs, sliding his shades off to fidget with them, maybe clean them with the edge of his own shirt. Just to occupy his hands, distract himself from anything bad. Still not saying anything.]
One far shakier release of air slips from between Baltimore's teeth, breezing on and past before anyone can make note of it. Everything, from the smooth way sparky just handled that, made himself more than comfortable there, and fact that Blitz loves the warmth they bring.
It takes him back. Makes him crave for some, any sort of alcohol to filter such feelings, to distinguish them from real.
Without a word spoken, his arm snakes it's way around Dante's middle, though he tries not to interrupt it in- whatever it is that they're doing with their hands. No, he couldn't care less for teasing. It is, simply, all about being a little closer.
... -Right now, I mean. Blitzer can allow his imagination to run wild after 6:30...
"... Sooo, uh... Had no idea ya got a car."
Now, imagine the embarrassment, if he got that wrong. Blitz and his big mouth.
"Uh, yeah, it's a.. well, I wouldn't say rental, one o' the guys lended it to me. Says I can have it for as long as I need. 'Course, once I get my payments out, I should be able to buy somethin' worthwhile." [Ah. The protection payments, still eating up a majority of his income. You'd think that dying once would get all the baddies off his tail, and he had been "lying low"- but apparently not low enough.]
[Dante relaxes in his embrace, tucking the shades into his pocket and leaning into him some, resting that vicious flame onto Blitzer's chest. Moments like these are too rare, they think, what with Baltimore's lack of sappiness and such as compared to the Inferno's.]
Well, would you look at that... Such raw honesty is quite admirable. Looks to be a sign of trust, and the bombhead likes the sound of it. He'd prefer this far over being fed cocky lies anytime. Blitz does not seem concerned about very obvious implications of getting asked for a raise, either. No, there's too much on his mind already. He finally puts his phone down.
"Ah, I see. ... I am guessin' your “guy” is super tall or somethin'? If ya catch me."
Baltimore does not have a heartbeat, in case you were wondering. Now both of his arms are free, and he makes sure to let spark know when the second wraps around him as well. Yeah, it can't leave.
Maybe it does not show too well- Good if so- But, he's struggling so damn hard to keep his head out of the gutter, what with this position they've got in and all. Dante's refreshing change of wardrobe doesn't help him keep focus any better, in fact so on the contrary that Blitzer's making it a conscious effort right here. Still, can't stop one hand from slipping directly underneath the hot new jacket. Hoping to come off as tries of cuddling.
"Nah, 's just a convertible, big seats. But it's fast, I'm probs gonna use it next time I'm getaway." [He hums, shifting around in Blitzer's lap, but not trying to escape- just so Dante can wrap his arms around his partner. As far as his arms will reach around the 10 foot robot, anyways.]
[After a moment of burying his face in that chest, the Inferno sits up to shrug off the leather jacket, apparently unaware of Baltimore's dilemma. Sometimes, it's hard to tell if Dante's playing dumb or just being dumb. This is one of those times.]
Facing each other when they are just so close, instead of the usual perspective... With no high chairs, no giant table, and while abso-lutely free of the constraints that the boss/employee power dynamic inflicts on basically everyone involved... Oh, and Inferno's tiny arms around him! Blitzer can't help but hold them tighter. Gently cupping the back of the flames, as they lie and blossom on the black X that marks all across his mighty chest.
"Aah, a'ight, if ya say so... Le's hope it's got seats big'nough fo'both of us then."
Baltimore beams from it. A silent laugh falls out shortly after, remarking on the last bit about the car, as if it was a joke.
"Aha- Real? You seriously think tha'chu stand a chance at bein' getaway again, e'special afta'wha'chu pulled las'week?"
-If someone were to try having this talk with him only a few months ago, Blitzer would have spat in their face and made fun of them for assuming he's willing to go as low as to take from other players. But... With how much more interesting things have gotten ever since Dante is part of the big deals, now these topics read like second nature to him. And he definitely did miss having fun at work.
... And, wow, he just HAD to make it all the more difficult didn't it? What's Blitz to do but stare, as his lip trembles and his mind starts going off the rails wild? How can he even still have it in him, to have 'those' thoughts at this moment? Baltimore huffs, in attempts of cooling off while there's still time to backtrack.
"Can't I try?" [He peers up with those puppy dog eyes. With no shades in the way, Dante can finally meet Blitzer's eyes. Of course they've got time before they head out, so there are probably alternatives if the seat isn't large enough- but the Inferno really wants to use this car. It just looks too good to crash.]
"Practice makes perfect, y'know.." [They give a smile that's almost too innocent, especially considering the way they eye his fuse.] "But not this time. Nah, I wanna make tonight perfect for you."
Well, that was uncalled for. Baltimore is just not ready to force control over how his irises are behaving too... Keeping his FACE from derping out is hard enough! The moment has both, flickering, going from slitted to dilated in split seconds... Took his sight off of their body, at least.
"... Hm. Oh, I'dunno... Maybe. If ya make sure tha'we get there in one piece, heh."
... He is giving Blitz The Eyes, sitting on his lap, locking gazes together, and has already lost an entire article of clothing. Tuesdays, am I right? Per-fectly normal. Black fuse that confusedly spins about? Nothing out of the ordinary here, either.
"M-m... I guess, whateva'. Not like I ask fo'perfection, eh. S'long as we'ave fun."
A perfect night out for him and nobody else- all, of Inferno's time and attention, and the dedication Dante's put into it..? Ooh, that idea just, fills him completely up with butterflies..! Then Blitz one-ups on them. Arm sliding down, grabbing it where he knows they love his touch the most once their voices do fall this quiet.
"Gonna tell me wha'cha looki'at then~?"
Ngh, right in the middle- Pulling Dante upward, bringing flame closer to bomb. Mere inches part them, as he breathes out a dense smoke, directly and slowly.
[As if he doesn't already have all of Dante's attention, though the hothead's mind rarely sticks to one topic of conversation- but then, that just made him put all the more passion into whatever had captured his interest. And Blitzer, who he admires beyond admiration- his mind can never get tired of him, or any time they spend together.]
[Maybe it's the mushy romantic inside of them, but something about the moment completely removes any and all restraint Dante had, leaning up to secure a kiss just as the anticipation surmounts. It's over in a second, though, as Dante does that smug dumbass grin, this time with some genuine stupidity, and says -] "I'm lookin' at the luckiest man in the world tonight! You know I'm fun!"

The Inferno's insecure footing and wavy posture tell more than needed. There is no free chair in sight. Blitzer is aware of that... And, is readily offering his lap, as he spins the big chair around of course.
[After a buffering time of two or three seconds, the Inferno nods slowly, making sure that he heard that right. It's not the most intimate thing he's done with Blitz, so why is he so damn nervous? They remind themselves not to take too long, lest the bombhead revoke the offer, and so Dante approaches, sliding in with some ease.]
[With his back pressed against Blitzer's chest, the hothead sighs, sliding his shades off to fidget with them, maybe clean them with the edge of his own shirt. Just to occupy his hands, distract himself from anything bad. Still not saying anything.]
One far shakier release of air slips from between Baltimore's teeth, breezing on and past before anyone can make note of it. Everything, from the smooth way sparky just handled that, made himself more than comfortable there, and fact that Blitz loves the warmth they bring.
It takes him back. Makes him crave for some, any sort of alcohol to filter such feelings, to distinguish them from real.
Without a word spoken, his arm snakes it's way around Dante's middle, though he tries not to interrupt it in- whatever it is that they're doing with their hands. No, he couldn't care less for teasing. It is, simply, all about being a little closer.
... -Right now, I mean. Blitzer can allow his imagination to run wild after 6:30...
"... Sooo, uh... Had no idea ya got a car."
Now, imagine the embarrassment, if he got that wrong. Blitz and his big mouth.
"Uh, yeah, it's a.. well, I wouldn't say rental, one o' the guys lended it to me. Says I can have it for as long as I need. 'Course, once I get my payments out, I should be able to buy somethin' worthwhile." [Ah. The protection payments, still eating up a majority of his income. You'd think that dying once would get all the baddies off his tail, and he had been "lying low"- but apparently not low enough.]
[Dante relaxes in his embrace, tucking the shades into his pocket and leaning into him some, resting that vicious flame onto Blitzer's chest. Moments like these are too rare, they think, what with Baltimore's lack of sappiness and such as compared to the Inferno's.]

Right on time! Guess who's been utterly miserable all day? Sliding in, and out of the world of the wake, stressed as shit?

Normally irresistible voice now flat as a board. Glued to the phone's screen, like hypnotized. His only part that even still gives off signs of life being the wagging pair of giant boots he's put on the desk.
"Just wanted to, uh, see how you were doin'. If it's okay." [He carries a bag, sure to be packed with valuables- after all, it's still February! He might be late, but that's not going to discourage Dante from being the simp he is.]
[The Inferno's even dressed somewhat nicely, his jeans are no longer torn and he's wearing a different jacket. Shirt's clean, too. If that wasn't enough, he seems even more antsy around Blitz than he usually is. Something is definitely happening.] "You're not- busy today, are you? I-if you are, that's totally okay, Boss, just wonderin'-"
He's too lost in thought to care. Absent and inattentive... Got to stop re-reading old texts Blitz. They're not bringing you any closer. You're only hurting yourself.
"Oh, hey... Shades. Didn' see you there."
Finally, moving his legs to see who is in front of him. In attempt to disguise the mopey mood, Blitz ends up coming off as oblivious... Oh well, it's a silver lining.
"... How'zabout you tells me wha'tchu in here fo' first, an' then I pick my words?"
"I'm in here for you. I... uh, I booked a place." [He smiles awkwardly, opening the bag and taking out a singular flower, offering it to Blitzer. Dante, as stupid as he may be, knows when something's up. So he cuts right to the chase, not wanting to waste Blitz's time.]
"Gotcha some sweets, too. Don't know if ya like Valentine's Day or any of that sappy shit, but I figured I would while it's on sale. N-not that I don't mind gettin' it for ya anytime, just- aw, whatever."
His emotions return once he'd accepted the small offering, glass eyes turning oh so sad, mouth barely agape. Seemingly, stuck mid- arrogant remark. Blitz knew. His sparky's no idiot- More of a dummy.
"-!? Y-you, you w-..? Ya... Shouldn'ave..."
Taking it in his claws, twirling it in hold. Looking from the flower, to Dante, and back, and forth, and back again... Even with that, he can't find right words yet. Jaw clamping shut as Blitzer starts his brain up again one more time, working through dozens of questions, snapping fingers as he stammers... That is a first.
"Wh-? You? Why'd- Wha... Where did..?"
Thoughts, catching up with the tongue. Setting both hands together, sucking in a cooldown breath upon settling on one single thing he must know most urgent.
" ... Fo' when."
Not even gonna regard the sweets? Or, wait. Yeah, good call actually. Answers first. He needs a plan, there is always a plan, there just simply MUST be a plan.
"Six, six thirty. It's just outside of town, I'm pretty sure we can get there without a hassle. I'll drive us, if you want." [The Inferno sheepishly rubs the back of his flame, sparks dancing this way and that as he watches Blitzer's stoicism fade away.]
[Still, Dante has his worries, a whole bunch of them that could've been avoided, had he checked with his intended date beforehand. What if the time didn't work? Or if Baltimore had something else planned for this time? There are only so many hours in a day.. They try their best to hide their anticipation.]
At half past seven..? OUTSIDE of town? DANTE DRIVING? THE Dante, aka, the number one holder of the "most trucks absolutely totaled in a month" WORLD RECORD? Like the idea of a “date” out with them wasn't terrifying enough as is- No, oh what the hell. Should he lie?
Or, just... Get over his own, debilitating fear, and simply get this over with too?
"Oh, t-tha's, uh... The, outskirts, right?"
Unnecessarily stupid questions, to buy more time for thought with? So typical.
"... I, uh... I'dunno... Had a long day. Or... Let me, jus', uh... Think, for a minute..?"
Pointer claw taps against the side of his shiny head, pondering hesitantly... Blitz looks down, at the phone in other hand. Heaving a sigh. A crushing guilt sets in.
"Mhm, just past downtown. A real quiet place, no- traffic or anythin'.." [They engage in the idle banter, almost as nervous as Blitz, if not for the same reasons. Anything to take the Inferno's mind off of the possibility of rejection. It's all he can do to keep his smile from faltering as they hear Blitz's uncertainty.]
"Yeah, yeah, sure! I, uh, gotta go grab somethin' anyhow, so-" [He sets the bag onto the nearest table and begins to back off into the door that he entered through. Of course, Dante knows he can't drive for shit. But he wants to seem.. capable. Trustworthy, like he can handle himself and Blitzer too. Even if that isn't entirely true..]
Oh Dante, you poor little fool. Whatever reasons it may have to be anxious, Blitz nor his own couldn't possibly be further from them. Tragic. Crushing, if you will.
"A-ah, ha... So, I, uh... Don' gotta stress too much 'bout dress code then, righ'?"
Half on the silly side, faintly on the very real and very genuinely wondering side.
"--Whoa wha wha- Hol'up twinkle eyes! You, don' go runnin' off nowhere 'till I-- 'T-till I say you free to go! Get back'ere!"
Some time together is enough for Blitz to find cause for worry right there- Guy is backing up already but hasn't even at all specified how're they gonna meet up yet! Blitzer NEEDS specifics! He will be confused without them! He'll fuck it up!
[Dante stops in his tracks, mere steps away from escape- the easy way out. His cheeks darken at the new nickname, nudging his glasses back up and straightening his back. Blitz's creative genius never fails to amaze.] "Okay- okay, I ain't goin' nowhere. I mean, 's not like ya could possibly do any worse than I am, in terms of... er, style."
[It's somewhat self-aware, at least enough so that it knows wearing the same black jacket and shades around everywhere gets a little bit tacky after a while. Dante's not flattering for the sake of flattery, there's an edge of honest admiration in their voice- that, for once, he's not trying to cover.]
Seeing the Inferno flushing in response is what helps his own mind find course.
"... Dante, you stop wi' that guilt trippy shit befo' I change my goddamn mind."
Regarding the whole thing in that very recognizable manner- Interlacing light hearted laughter with a genuine threat.
"Fuckin'... Jus'stay put an' talk to me fo' once. Why ya always in a hurry to book it straigh' outta tha'door, eh? Do I bite?"
Uh oh, his prior mood is returning- As is the way more level headed approach to the situation. Now that initial shock has passed, Blitzer can get ahold of himself. And before you ask, yes. It's a rhetorical question. He bites. Occasionally. A little.
"Sorry, didn't mean ta... uh..." [Dante looks down at his shoes, cooling down a bit from those pointed (yet true) remarks. Blitz knows he scares them, right? That's his whole thing. Big, powerful, scary. At least to Dante.]
[He sits and waits- or rather, stands in place and shifts about nervously, waiting for Blitz to say something. Holding his tongue to avoid making things worse, hands shoved in his coat pockets, glancing up at Blitzer and trying his best to seem casually confident or cool. The vibes are hard to maintain.]
Dante, the Inferno, still terrified of him? The way his eyebrow proceeds to cock upward is at best described as comical.
